Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the Stavoren fishing days will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. It is a unique opportunity to experience these events, but they do cause noise pollution. If you are looking for peace and quiet, it is better to choose a different period. The Hanzekop team.

Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Luka's Hut, eco-cabin with sauna by the river

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

Studio with unique views over the IJsselmeer

In the old center of Hindeloopen, there is a fisherman's cottage (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio has a king-size bed, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space. Parking is available at the cottage itself, provided you have a small car. Otherwise, we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking lot at the harbor. You can store your bicycles in the garden that belongs to the guest house.

It's a new double apartment. It is an upper floor, with an easy and safe to enter wide staircase and a private entrance. You have no neighbors downstairs. It has a spacious balcony, where you can enjoy the beautiful views. In front of the house is a lake. It is located near to the Elfsteden town of Workum. Partly known for the Jopie Huismanmuseum. Also for kite-surfers it is nearby the Ijsselmeer. From this apartment you can enjoy beautiful cycling or hiking,or relax and enjoy.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. Welcome to Studio Io Vivo. Our beautiful studio is located in a unique location in the center of the historic town of Workum, one of the eleven cities of Friesland, near the IJsselmeer with its lovely beach. The studio with panoramic views over the countryside is located behind the house on the Merk and in the middle of the center near one of the most beautiful squares in Friesland.

Next to our small nature campsite (this is only open during the summer holidays) is a beautiful vacation home in the middle of nature. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real “Oldtimer” but also with oven. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120,- for a midweek/week.
