Woodland Lodge

Had an absolutely lovely stay here! Location was perfect, and check in was an absolute dream. Host was super communicative before we got there so we knew exactly what to expect before we arrived. Furnishings wise there was everything we needed there, heads up you will need to bring everything food wise as not even tea or coffee in the property but there’s a corner shop less than 10 minutes walk so that wasn’t a problem at all. Lots of lovely walks and things to do close to the property and the hosts had left a bunch of leaflets for local attractions and listed out a few local places to eat and drink which was super helpful. Previous reviews have mentioned being under a flight path but we didn’t really notice this and wasn’t an issue at all during our stay. Really nice touch that the Tv was already logged into Netflix so we could watch Tv in the evenings. The WiFi and phone signal wasn’t amazing but that’s what you expect when being so rural. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway :)

Kind hosts easy to communicate with. Animals are lovely, great space for what we needed. Would’ve been an added bonus to have a duvet for the sofa bed but we had a blanket with us. Thankyou for having us!

An Idyllic Cottage located close to Manchester

It was lovely to stay at this cosy little cottage once again. This was our second stay. The garden is lovely and the views are stunning. We lit the fire each night and Ben has fire lighters, wood and coal available. A nice touch. Perhaps not a ‘high end’ type of place if you was ‘modern’ appliances etc. but if you’re looking for a comfortable, cosy space Ben’s place is great. He also asks if there’s anything extra you need so if you do think you want something specific then Ben makes it clear it’s ok to ask.

We had a great stay at Joanne’s place. The house was beautiful and extremely clean. Everything was well thought of and had everything we needed. The pub across the road had excellent food and dog friendly. Surrounding area is stunning scenery. Highly recommended.

Modern flat in central Glossop, Peak District.

Sian is a lovely host, who is very easy to get ahold of and left us a lot of things to use. She also had a very easy set of instructions on how to use everything and everything was very clear and laid out nicely. She had also provided us with an itinerary of things we could do local to us if we wanted. Overall 10/10 experience I highly recommend.

Perfect little spot with all possible amenities included. It was lovely to have a well stocked kitchen and bathroom in case you forget the essentials. Hanna was very friendly and responsive to any messages, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when I’m in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay 🙏
