Cottage vacation rentals in Woodend

Nice little cottage in the bush. Freezing cold when we arrived (no surprise, it's winter), but the fire eventually warmed the whole house up.

The house is clean and peaceful, beautifully located by the lake. It’s especially delightful to take a stroll at sunset. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again in the future.

A little oasis perfectly situated next to the Botanic Gardens! Heaps of space for a couple, plus a beautiful veranda out the back. The spa was a treat! Would stay again.

Lady Marmalade has quickly become a favourite for our annual girls trip. It’s cozy, close to the shops and a beautiful house. We look forward to our visit every year. James is a great host and very friendly and responsive.

Lovely little cottage, fireplace was delightful my daughter & I had a wonderful little stay in between basketball games. Close enough to Ballarat, easy and accessible.

This was my third stay and it just keeps getting better. The converted shed is absolutely stunning – rustic, full of character, and incredibly well put together. The wood fire creates such a warm, cozy vibe, and the quality of the space is second to none. It’s the perfect country escape – peaceful, beautifully styled, and in an ideal location. Clearly a lot of love has gone into creating this space. One of my favourite Airbnb stays, and I’ll definitely be back again.

Great place especially with the fur babies and they were welcomed! Stephanie was a great communicator and always on hand if you needed something ! Very private regardless of the number of cottages on site! We will be back ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay. It is a beautiful cottage with such a warm and homey feel to it. We had the fire going both nights and the electric blankets in the bed kept us toasty! We ate breakfast on the front deck and listened to the local birds. Kangaroos in the backyard! Be aware there is no wifi and phone service in the area is very poor. This ended up being a blessing for us as we were more present with each other. We enjoyed some of the board games and dvd's on offer! Check in process was a little frustrating as, though we booked through AirBnb, the cottage is actually managed by DayGet which required more of a process to book and check in. Worth it though. We loved our stay so much.

We can’t wait to return. We all absolutely loved the house and everything has been so well thought of. The views, the peace, such a restful place and we had everything we needed and more to cook great meals. Comfy, warm and Castlemaine close by. Thanks for sharing your your home Regards Susan

We loved our getaway to Hepburn Springs! The house was cozy, we loved the wood fire, and the amenities were clean and nice! Everything was explained well and we had no issues with anything on our stay!

Ellen and Kevin’s place is really gorgeous and full of character. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The wood fire is so atmospheric and cosy. They natural surroundings are so relaxing. I highly recommend!

Mistwood is just off the main street but feels a world away given it’s down a steep drive and surrounded on by natural bush land. The house is very comfortably, cozy and homely with everything you need for a long weekend. My only issue was the weather was so bad all weekend I didn’t get to use the outdoor bath! Nicole was an excellent host too.

My mum, sisters and I had the most beautiful stay at Julian and Susie’s! The cottage was absolutely perfect and so cosy, not to mention how stunning the surrounding gardens/views were. We enjoyed every moment and hope to book another stay there again! Thank you Julian and Susie for being wonderful hosts and making our stay one to remember.

This was a lovely little cottage. Heaters were on and the place was lovely and warm. The kids loved the toys that were supplied. Perfect spot and great value for money, won’t look else where next time would just book here again. Thanks again

Kendell was super responsive and helpful with flexible check in/out times, providing an extra heater and high chair - thank you! As the other reviews say, the highlight is being able to show kids the farm animals (cows, alpaca, sheep) on the ATV ride (thank you, Mac!) and checking for fresh eggs throughout the day. The unit itself is very practical and was fairly recently furnished.

Absolutely loved our stay at this charming house. It’s beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and perfectly situated for easy access to local attractions. The serene surroundings made for a truly relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Ari & Chanelle’s home was the perfect cozy AirBnB for our long weekend. The house had everything we needed: a spacious fireplace, wine and cheese and my personal favorite—the vintage record player. Every detail was well thought out, making it a very relaxing getaway.

We had a beautiful weekend in Anne-Marie's place. Despite the inclement weather, the house offered us a warm and spacious place to entertain ourselves. Will definitely book again.

This perfect little cottage is just what we wanted. Quiet and peaceful while we were there and close enough to walk along Piper street and into Mollinson street.
