Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Woodbury

We absolutely loved staying here! It was a beautiful home that has obviously been well maintained. I dropped something under the couch and was surprised to find some old snacks that hadn’t been cleaned up between renters, but that was really minor. It had everything the 6 of us needed to make our trip easier and more economical because we were able to cook meals and do laundry. They even supply things like dish soap, laundry soap and shower basics so we didn’t have to. And we really appreciated how quickly we got responses to messages we sent during our stay. The only thing I wish we’d have known ahead of time is that when water pipe maintenance is being done by the city the water comes out orange/brown because of rust. But that only happened to us one time out of 10 days and after flushing the water pipes by running the tub it cleared up pretty quickly. If we’re back in the area again this will definitely be the place we stay!

Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

Even better than the pictures! This was one of our favorite Airbnb experiences, super cute and eclectic house. We loved the style, the bathrooms made me want to renovate my own, and the beds were too comfortable if that’s possible lol. Perfect for vacation. The house was centrally located to the airport and the Bible museums and printery we booked to tour. Overall, we had just a lovely stay and cannot wait to go back!

Mahmoud was a wonderful host. Very responsive, pleasant, and helpful. His home and the views were spectacular, and the koi pond was beautiful. It’s a great location to stay while visiting West Point, as it’s a quick drive across the Bear Mountain Bridge. Our large group felt comfortable and welcomed. One of the bedroom descriptions could have been listed a little clearer because you need to pass through the master bedroom to get to it. Luckily our family was ok with that. We would stay again.

This was by far one of the most wonderful Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. We, along with our guests, were impressed by all the thoughtful decor touches in the in the home, the clean space, and the stocked pantry. Plenty of cookware, coffee, tea, etc. if you want to cook in the home. Otherwise it’s just a three minute walk from Main Street and all the wonderful eateries Beacon has to offer. Tatiana was very responsive and welcoming!

This home is a great retreat in the Catskills, it feels intimate while still having the space for you and other guests. Would visit again!

We have stayed at Erik's place 4 or 5 times now. It's perfect, has everything you need. It is centrally located to surrounding towns. Erik and his parents are very friendly and always responsive. I highly recommend staying there!

It was comfortable, very roomy, and cozy. There was good shared space and good privacy. The grounds were lovely, there was a great pool, and it was very convenient to so many good things to do in the area. It's one of our favorite rentals to date!

Joan met us as we pulled in. she was friendly and welcoming into her home.

Pros: Walkable to Main Street Easy Parking Clear instruction from Graham Booked the hot tub and enjoyed it in the evening and the following morning Cons: If you’re someone who needs a cold space to sleep, be aware that there is no direct a/c in the bedrooms, we left the bedroom door open and still woke up hot Shower/bathroom were a tight squeeze for 5’11” husband

This is a very beautiful home and grounds. Tracy and Errol are very welcoming and friendly. Guests who stay there have access to the grounds and the pool which are beautifully maintained, peaceful, and lush. My teenage grandchildren came over to visit and swim in the pool and loved the decorative details of the apartment! Tracy provided many extra little touches like providing toothbrushes. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Overall, I can’t say enough about what a lovely place this is. 😊

We had a lovely stay at Ann Marie’s place. It’s just like the pictures, and she absolutely deserves her super host rating! She was friendly and incredibly responsive, provided recommendations for the area, and told us everything we needed to know. The place was clean and stocked with all sorts of extra amenities you don’t usually find with Airbnb (snacks, travel toiletries, extra towels, hotel bathrobes, wrapped chocolate by the bed, water/milk/juice in the fridge, and more). We had a lovely swim in the pool and enjoyed wandering around Beacon and surrounding area. We would love to come back! Thank you so much, Ann Marie!

The place was really nice and the host was great! Don’t get discouraged if the power goes out during your stay cause apparently that’ll happen 2-4 times a year according to the host. Other than that I highly recommend

Melissa was an amazing host from the minute we booked the reservation. Her home was beautiful and provided a sense of peace. The binder with local activities as well as restaurants was extremely helpful and although it rained our whole weekend we didn't mind because the hot tub area was so nice. Will definitely be back again!

This was a lovely getaway, went up for Memorial Day Weekend and getting some nature in at Minnewaska state park, it was rainy this weekend so we ended up having more time at the house then planned but we were so cozy it was a delight, we had some empty tanks for the grill when we arrived but the hosts offered to reimburse us for the refuel which was very kind, also had a friend who left their jacket and keys and Kyle and Jasmine have been wonderful in helping them get it back! A great cozy stay, the ride up was scenic

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our girls trip at Natalia’s in Princeton!! She has a beautiful, spacious home, well-furnished and had plenty of bathroom space for the 5 of us. I was so pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful the area was. The backyard is large and scenic with trees and shrubbery that make the space feel quite private. The large windows in the foyer and back sliding doors also let in such beautiful natural light. Natalia was an awesome host, checking in proactively and always anticipating our needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Everything was absolutely amazing. We felt at home the entire stay and had everything we needed. Carl was really easy to work with. I mistakenly booked the trip a day shorter than needed. At the last minute I realized my mistake and Carl was quick to respond that adding an extra day was no problem. The system had a problem though allowing me to book an overnight stay on the same day I “checked out,” but Carl worked back and forth with me and with AirBnb help until I was finally able to book that extra night. Carl remained professional, calm, and polite, even though I know that was probably stressful and a pain to deal with. The problem was 100% on me, but he helped to fix it with such grace. I really appreciate the professionalism. I highly recommend both Carl and this specific rental. Thank you!

The house was beautiful, although we lost water for about 12 hours one day the host was kind enough to give us a free night because of it. Loved the location, we will definitely be coming back to stay again! Only improvement I would make is more kitchen utensils and tools, a pan for the oven, a rolling pin, mixing bowls, measuring cups etc.

The house is very modern, clean and organized. Nice stay, but too bad the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the outdoor space.

Dove Haven is truly a special spot that shows that someone (Patty) cares about it a lot. The house is very well stocked and we never lacked for anything. And the collection of available umbrellas was greatly appreciated (yes, a bit of rain). Spacious hot tub (accommodates 8, nicely) is well-located on adjacent deck with beautiful view of spectacular garden. Rare to find a place where each of the five bedrooms, (with en suite or nearby bathroom), would be a master bedroom in a typical Airbnb. The master bedroom lives up to the billing with a monstrous bathroom including an inviting tub and a private porch. Public tennis courts and public pickleball courts nearby (less than a mile down West Rock Ave) were a treat. As was brunch at Bella’s Cafe (highlighted in Patty’s online notebook). Just plain terrific from beginning to end.
