Monthly Rentals in Woodbastwick

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We just spent a few days at The Retreat and everything was perfect. It is in a peaceful, rural location but with an excellent pub almost next door (Salhouse Lodge) which has great food and is dog friendly. We visited with our nervous dog and Mark and Marion were very accommodating of her - the private garden was also secure for her to run around in. You get a gorgeous view of the sunset from The Retreat and it’s also a great view for spotting wildlife - we saw a Little Owl and Red Kite from the garden :) You can walk from The Retreat to Salhouse Broads and we also drove to nearby beaches. Thanks for a brilliant stay!

Tanya was the perfect host with some amazing little touches that made us feel welcome. Tanya was flexible and amenable and generally a joy to have rented from - we hope to return soon!

Our stay was peaceful in tranquil surroundings. The cottage was well equipped with quality furnishings and beds very comfortable. One of our party was in the process of recovering from illness, and after a few days began to feel so much better and by the end of the stay had the best sleep since his diagnosis. Beautiful garden, patio and area. The White horse inn nearby was great for a pint and food if you didn’t want to cook. Central to many attractions in Norfolk.

We had a fantastic weekend staying at the Butterfly Roundhouse. Sarah and Neil were fabulous hosts. All fixtures and fittings are of high quality, we really enjoyed the hot tub, but the little touches, such as the biscuits, tea/coffee and Sarah allowing us to pet her chickens made the stay very special. The outlook is so peaceful and quiet we enjoyed watching the wildlife from garden sofa. We were lucky with the weather, allowing us to spend lots of time outdoors. Thanks so much. We hope to be back again.
