Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Wood County

This was the perfect place for the whole family to stay together. Plenty of space and the location was great. Restaurants a short walk away and great walking trails along the river. This house has a rich history in the town so it was great to get to stay inside. Patrick also provided resources so you could learn more about the area and the house.

My sisters and our families had an awesome visit in your beautiful home. The layout of having bedrooms and bathrooms on all three floors is especially helpful in providing privacy yet keeping us all together. We could have easily invited additional family without feeling crowded. We enjoyed yard-games in your well kept spacious yard, and cooked two meals in your smokeless fire pit. Your home is close enough to town yet far enough away to give us the feeling of "getting away from it all." My brother-in-law enjoyed getting out on the river to fish. We loved our stay. Very clean and minimalist which was great. I love how open things were even with the extra beds in the room. Lots of sleeping options. The house was full of natural lights. The older house charm was great. Wide baseboards, glass door knobs and hardwoods floors. We also had time to enjoy the cute porch in the backyard. Definitely worth the stay and was a great value.

The home was perfect for our group of 8 adults during a difficult time after a family loss. We booked last-minute and were able to check in the same day. Jeremy was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout. What meant the most to us was the thoughtful gesture—flowers and a card waiting for us. Truly an outstanding host and one of the best homes I’ve stayed in!
