Amazing location right on the river with beautiful views and excellent fishing. Incredibly relaxing! Highly recommend and would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

We really enjoyed staying here for a five year anniversary getaway and relaxation. Our pup got her zoomies out and even explored by the River! We would definitely book again! Both Frank and Kaylee were responsive if we had any questions and great hosts!

It was just the quiet stay we were looking for. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, Cornhole, and fire pit.

Beautiful cozy house, very comfortable, especially the beds/pillows. All the amenities were great. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sauna.

Excellent communication from the host, and very helpful. House is adorable and stayed cool even when the temps started to warm up. My girlfriend and I could not say enough positive things about our stay here. Ben, our host, was extremely helpful and we had everything we could have needed available to us - beyond what the listing even mentioned. The cabin itself was so cozy and there is no beating the patio. We utilized the hot tub and fire pit multiple times a day. We loved being able to cook our meals on the grill, hike the trail out back, and enjoy our coffees surrounded by nature. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Plus, all the reviews about the nice towels and robes are SO TRUE. Thank you, Ben!

Our stay was fantastic! It's exactly as described and Jodi has thought of everything in terms of needs. The cabin was so cozy and functional for our family and dog. The bunk house was perfect for our three teens and they had the best time kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming. After a day on the water, we enjoyed a picnic and campfire each night. Jodi's recommendations were so helpful. Don't miss the homemade meals at "Hit the Road Joe's."

We had a great weekend. The cabin is lovely. We hiked at the nearby nature area, fished in the lake & surrounding areas, and explored downtown. We made breakfasts and dinners at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed the variety of boats available.

Truly an exceptional stay. Top tier hosts that have gone above and beyond to make the stay feel like home. Incredibly clean, no bugs. A really nice little house. Property is beautifully maintained. So relaxing. Wildlife everywhere. We loved all the turtles. The only negative would be the goose poop all over the yard, but that’s just wild life being wild (I would just pack footwear accordingly) Overall, we are super happy with our stay and hope to be back! Very clean! Appreciated modern and fully equipped kitchen. Nice little table and chairs for my morning coffee just outside the door. Wonderful backyard! The firepit is nicer than some places I've been. This cabin is on a dirt road in a little neighborhood. Sort of private. Pretty quiet. Surrounded by many tall pines, walkable to trail head. Will visit again.

Super comfortable place. Very dog friendly and had everything we needed. Clean and easy to find. Host was super nice too!

So happy with our stay! So many trout to see in the river, and even though there's a neighbor nearby, it felt so secluded. Amenities were great, and Jordan was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

The Gabriel Cabin was such a pleasant stay for us. we brought our dog Elvis for one of his first camping/outdoor experiences. we enjoyed walking the Her-See trail in particular but we did also walk the Heron Path as well. we found the mosquitos in full swing so we did enjoy more solitude indoors. The cabin itself was tidy and had cute added touches for decor that created an experience of its own such as the lighting and fun remote control lamps. I especially liked coloring a mushroom page and we also found a rock to add to the stove collection. we cooked all meals at the cabin and found amenities to be plenty. We walked the larger Labyrinth and was able to see other cabins around the property as we passed them. the creek is absolutely beautiful!! The outhouse was clean and adorable. we have been all over Michigan but never in that particular area so while the property itself was nice we did have to drive a ways to get to other hiking trails. we would return for certain.

This was such an ideal place to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin is absolutely beautiful in a peaceful and private setting, which gave us permission to unplug and relax. We loved the sauna outside and enjoyed our meals in the shade of the surrounding trees. It’s already a really special place, and the hosts went above and beyond with amenities and details that elevated the experience beyond any other Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely return to create more memories and connect with each other in this quiet and lovely cabin. Absolutely perfect!

We loved staying at Jason's place. It's very clean, comfortable and perfect for our weekend. It had everything we needed and wanted. This our second visit and would definitely stay here again.

A perfect place to get away from everything. It was hard to choose whether to sit on the deck, down by the water or the fireplace! Walking into the river to fish right from the backyard was a huge bonus. Cathy was quick to respond to all questions and recommendations. Can’t wait to stay here again.

The cabin is charming, with practical and aesthetically appealing amenities and decoration. The private space both inside and out was calming and relaxing. We enjoyed birdwatching, dipping into the books on hand and walking through the woods.

Cabin was great. Weekend turned cold and the heat worked great. Easy to find and very clean. Very responsive on questions. Would absolutely stay again.

This was our second year in a row staying at Camp Bushwack’d. My friends and I love staying here due to its location and beautiful surroundings. Kaitlin is also an exceptional host! We love that we are treated as neighbors rather than guests. I cannot even thank her enough for the hospitality we always receive. I also cannot speak highly enough of how cleanly the Airbnb is. If you are into beautiful secluded locations that are private, look no further and book now! We were even impressed there was an additional room added this year. The shower/bathroom is phenomenal as well. We greatly enjoy being able to grill and have fires at our convenience. You can either make it feel like home or use it as a come and go to explore the surrounding areas. A great stay for anyone that is into ORV trail riding as well. There is a gas station roughly 5 minutes from the Airbnb that we like to frequent. Trail accesses are everywhere. We look forward to staying with Kaitlin again in the future!

A peaceful and relaxing cabin setting right on the water. A nice outdoor area with porches, chairs, fireplace and dock. The place was cozy and well appointed with modern amenities and supplies. We enjoyed the location as a base to relax and do day trips around the area.
