Johannes is a great host, everything well prepared. The apartment is well laid out and everything you need is on site. Even a terrace overlooking the garden. The residential area is very quiet, to eat you make your way somewhere else. He even provided a bicycle on request, very good.

Lovely apartment with welcoming and responsive hosts. Easy to find, park, enter, use and keep clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We were absolutely satisfied, everything was clean, enough towels and bedding available. The house itself is quite noisy and the neighbors are not the quietest, leaving windows open at night is difficult, as the apartment is right on a main road and therefore also quite noisy. What was absolutely the best, I wrote to Jan-Niklas Saturday evening, if we could possibly do a slightly later checkout and he answered almost immediately and we could sleep wonderfully. Thanks again for that!!! 🥰

I highly recommend this as the place to stay. Everything is great! The only downside was parking on the street at times. Unfortunately, it often took a long time to find a parking space or you had to walk very far.

Modern and tastefully furnished apartment with new and perfect amenities. The location is noteworthy, which cannot be more convenient for reaching the train station (10 min walk), gastronomy and the highlights of the area. I took many tours in the Ruhr area by bike from the apartment. It's the best possible starting point for this. The street in front of the house produces its typical noises, but in the evening it becomes quiet, and with the window closed you don't notice any of it. Communication with Sarah was quick, reliable and extremely personable. I'd love to come back.

The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. It was a wonderful stay! We really fell in love with this house. It is very cosy and nice, we had everything we needed to relax in the pesceful surrounding of nature. The host was very kind and fast in reponding, ready to help with all requsts. We did't want to leave.

We were very satisfied and the communication with Nina was really great. The old town is within walking distance and we ate well there. There are many different restaurants and cafes.

Very uncomplicated host, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was great, very tastefully decorated, with creative solutions for a basement ambience. Anyone who values the opportunity to watch TV should have a suitable account (?) I don't know anything about it. Perfect for tired cyclists!

Bella’s place is a bit of a gem. A large two bed flat, with great living space. Location is quiet and peaceful and we were able to walk into the city. Plenty of public transport too. Communication was great.

I did not expect to stay in Dortmund in such a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. There is a lot within walking distance and in case of need you also have the e-scooters which are also fun to ride. Now to the accommodation I have already been to a few Air bnb's but this has been very convincing the landlord has been more than friendly and the apartment itself also offers a very nice and well-kept bathroom. I can only give my absolute recommendation and will definitely consider this Air bnb again on my next Dortmund visit just great:)

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful apartment. The fenced garden was ideal for our dogs, who also enjoyed the walks by the nearby water. Everything was tip top clean and nicely decorated - you noticed that someone made an effort. The surroundings are amazing and you can quickly reach all the interesting places in the Ruhr area. An absolute recommendation!
