Braylsham Castle

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
John's castle is just amazing. Everything we could only dream of. Setting is idyllic, relaxing, homely, spacious and grand. Laura welcomed us, showed us around and was friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was a treat and cooked beautifully. Any questions we needed answered were done quickly. We dined out at two of the recommended pubs and the food was brilliant. Our labrador Holly was made to feel like one of the guests. She had the run of the castle, loved the walks that were close by and of course the lake truly made her experience 5* too. My children enjoyed a singing lesson with Laura and there was no problem with general noise the children made. We met John and he was a knowledgeable gentleman. Thank you for letting us stay in your home John and many thanks to Laura for everything you did for us too.

Our Stay at Orznash Farm was amazing. We have stayed at AirBnB's all over the U.S. and Europe and this was one of our top experiences. The home is absolutely amazing. The design and decorations are beautiful and the setting in the English Countryside was so relaxing and beautiful. Upon arrival, Karen, greeted us made us feel right at home immediately. She was so thoughtful in recognizing that we were celebrating our daughter's graduation and she had an amazing bottle of bubbly waiting for us. We also had delicious breakfast items for our entire stay. Can't say enough about what a great experience we had at Orznash Farm. Highly recommend it!

Contemporary countryside cottage

DavidRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Spent 6 pleasant days at Littleshaw Cottage. Although we went in June the evenings were chilly but the underfloor heating in the cottage kept us warm. All the things we needed, and more, for a comfortable stay were provided. We felt very secure in the cottage as it is in the private grounds of the main house behind a gated driveway. This was our first visit to Kent and there is so much to see. If we returned for another holiday we would like to stay here again.

‘The Water Snug’ Floating Lake Cabin

JoeRating, 5 stars2 days ago
What a visit! We’ve absolutely loved every minute of our stay with Patrick and Juliette, they have created the most beautiful living space and could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It’s a fantastic spot for either a calm getaway or for if you want to do some exploring, and your hosts have excellent local knowledge that they are happy to share if you need recommendations for the area. We had planned to just relax on the boat for the whole time, but we actually wound up visiting nearby areas (Brighton, the beautiful Sheffield Park, local pubs) before retreating to the boat for the evenings, and we loved this mix. Could not recommend this place enough, it’s been our favourite holiday yet and I’m certain that we’ll be back in future!
The exterior of the cottage showcases a blend of traditional and modern architecture, featuring red brick walls and large glass bifold doors. A well-kept lawn surrounds the space, with outdoor seating visible, providing an inviting area to relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings.

The views from the property are stunning, offering a peaceful outlook over the surrounding countryside. Mayfield itself is a charming, quaint village with a welcoming atmosphere, where you can slow down, enjoy a peaceful walk and feel right at home, It’s definitely recommended and I can’t fault it in any way.
