Lake house vacation rentals in Wisconsin

We loved our stay! This is such a great location - just steps the beach, coffee/ice cream shop, other restaurants, and more! Beds were comfortable. Appreciated the small touches - propane fireplace outside, wagon with beach toys/chairs/floaties, extra blankets all around the house, a pack n play, and an air mattress. You will hear the train at odd hours all day, but we so appreciated the fans and sound machines in each room. Great stay!

Great location right on the lake and a 20ish min drive to the door county towns for activities. We used the kayaks every day and had a fire on the water which was my favorite part. It was a quiet and peaceful street for walks. The host was very present and messaged throughout the stay to ensure we were alright - although we never ran into issues. I wish there had been beach towels in addition to the white towels we used in the bathroom - however they do provide a washer & dryer so we washed the towels after using from the hot tub/lake. Also the hot tub is only for 2 adults - we tried to squeeze 4 in and it was tight.

This place was so beyond cute and peaceful! Held everyone comfortably and would definitely return! The driveway is a little tight but we managed.

This home was beautiful! It had an amazing view right off of the water. We spent a lot of our time on the river and was incredibly convenient if you’re wanting to go fishing and bring a boat because they have a dock where we tied our boat up. They provided a bunch of recommendations for around the area which was really helpful. It was a beautiful home and an incredible trip if you’re looking for a nice getaway!

Overall great experience. Place was amazing. Ed offered a lot of access to activities within premises. Gave great advice on activities to do around the city. House was very clean. Defiantly recommend this host to anyone staying in or around fond du lac. Will be checking on this place for future stays

House was exactly like the pictures! We loved the beach access! We honestly over packed because the house has so many beach towels, spices, & blankets! Everything we did was 5-10 min from the house! We loved Sheboygan, I loved that there wasn't a lot of chain restaurants! We hope to be back!!

All we could want in a BnB & more- very clean, quiet neighborhood, roomy with plenty of places to put our stuff away out of sight, comfy beds & furniture, sauna, hot tub, well-stocked kitchen, extra pillows & blankets & towels, tea kettle in addition to the coffee pots, and space in the cabinets. This is a place to truly kick back & just relax. The lake view was our favorite thing, and could be enjoyed right from the comfy couch- which was wonderful when the weather wasn’t cooperating. We really enjoyed watching the Great Blue Heron fishing in the shallows. Something we really appreciated was use of the attached garage. It rained a number of days while we were there, including while we were unpacking our car, and having use of the garage was great! This is a place that gets earmarked in hopes of a return trip.

The house was super clean and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful, the lake was super peaceful. We had a great girls weekend.

The building is very cute. We arrived late but check in was easy and William is responsive on whatever we need. Unfortunately, there were a few things missing from what described but William was able to rectify it quickly. It is quite peaceful and great place to come with our pets. We saw some deers and lots of birds. Only 12 minutes drive to Lake Geneva which also provided lots of walking area with our pups.

Very responsive hosts. Instructions to get in were clear. Home is stacked with everything you could need and more with labeled drawers and closets. Puzzles, games, toiletries, baggies, storage containers, laundry options, every kitchen appliance needed for food and drink, many towels and linens. Newer seeming couches in main room were comfy. While it felt like fall during our visit, many options for water activities available. Pup enjoyed swimming and helping us fish off the pier. Nearby corner store gas station has many grocery options, deli, and everything you likely need for fishing, cocktails, and even had a birthday cake. Definitely worth the drive to explore Goodman County Park/Story Falls. Peaceful lake property. Definitely would consider booking again!

Beautiful spot to relax, close to great hiking trails. The home was comfy and had some thoughtful extras.

Great cozy cottage with resort amenities. We used the canoe and kayak and brought out own kayaks at the private lakes. Lots of quiet roads to bike and little destinations to get to - pool, beach, restaurant, golf course. We swam everyday in the lake or at the pool. Great location to explore- so many great little towns from St. Croix Falls to Danbury to Balsalm Lake to Spooner with a lot of food choices. We even caught a ton of panfish ( but threw most back) and had a fresh- caught meal.

The home was exactly as described. Beautiful location on a very nice lake. We’re coming back in November. Would highly recommend

We had a great stay at Lexi’s place. The view is great and the house had everything we needed to make ourselves at home for the week. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Great place by the lake. Close to Chicago for a day trip and great restaurants nearby. The home was well equipped with what we needed and the hot tub was a perfect temperature for the chilly evenings. Zan was a responsive host and we had no issues throughout our stay. The beds and couches were comfy and clean. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our week stay at Rock Lake. The big deck with a screened in lounge was perfect for Summer evenings. We used the lake toys and enjoyed bon fires. We will definitely come back!

Dan & Beth said they wanted us to feel at home and we certainly did! We had 7 adults in our group & we talked about the house & cost to stay there. We all agreed it was absolutely worth every cent. Dan couldn’t have been more helpful whenever we reached out with a question. Being right on the beach was magical. Fires at night with a plentiful supply of dry wood was a nice surprise! Anything you could possibly think of was at our disposal! Even the refrigerator was pristine, which in my experience, doesn’t always happen in a rental. We will miss Sandvik house!

It was everything we were imagining it would be. The amenities were amazing and we literally did not need anything other than food. The house was spacious and the setting was to die for. Elizabeth was a very good communicator as she had a-lot of information to help us scout out and plan the trip. What a wonderful host and would definitely recommend her as a host. The property is definitely worth coming back too!

I know we weren't the first first to stay, but it was so clean and perfect that it was about impossible to believe otherwise. Super clean and will equipped. Well laid out. Everything we could want was there - even kitchen gadgets, some spices and cooking spray! Our daughter especially loved the paddle boat and giant tv. Everything was very high quality and quite plush. Host was helpful, and (with my portable ramp for one step) I was very able to get in and around in my wheelchair. It was very quiet and peaceful. Highly and whole heartedly recommend! Would absolutely stay again.

Cozy and clean cabin, with everything thoughtfully arranged. The best part was enjoying morning coffee outside with a view of the river. A peaceful and lovely place to relax. We’ll definitely be back! 🌿☕️

First time experience at a lake house and it was very pleasant. Stayed with a 11 member group including kids from age 1 to 13 and everyone liked the place. Access to Pontoon was an added attraction and was very easy to learn and operate. Scott responds to texts within minutes and always accessible, place is easy to find and the location is serene.

This was the perfect getaway to enjoy the gorgeous scenery with the dogs. Cassandra was very responsive and everything was easy from booking to departure. Would definitely go back!

Had a wonderful stay in a neat yet homey rental! The views were breathtaking and the location had other homes nearby but it was very peaceful and quiet. Host was very responsive to minor questions. Highly recommend.
