Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Wisconsin River

We loved our week at Lori’s place. The pool, the hot tub and the massage chair made it easy for us to fully relax and wind down for the week. The kitchen was also well equipped, but we also enjoyed some of the local restaurants as well and they were fabulous as well. The touch of local menus on the welcome pack helped us choose fun local spots. Would absolutely book this location again.

Our extended family enjoyed our weekend stay at the guesthouse. Beautiful accommodations, quiet - secluded setting, well furnished, with spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Although the house was not huge, our family of 12 was very comfortable and we enjoyed the walking trails through the property and fires in the evenings as we star gazed. We have gathered for Memorial Day weekends the last 25 years, and this would rank up with one of our favorite experiences.

This had been my third using this place usually with my husband and dogs. It’s always been easy access to what we are doing in the area and convenient for our dogs. The host has always been great and is very home like. We will continue to book here when we are in the area.

Alpine Oasis was a true, relaxing getaway. The outdoor area has everything you could want/need (pontoon boat, paddle boat, peddle boat, kayaks, hot tub, fire pit, hammocks, etc). We were always outside enjoying nature and it felt very private and relaxing. Books were read and good company was had! The kitchen was fully equipped and we cooked often but also went out to enjoy some Wisconsin Supper Clubs! Grocery store was close, as was a delicious bakery and country market. As a bonus, a dog is welcome! We loved our time here and hope to return!

We enjoyed ourselves in Viroqua. We were bliss enough to walk wherever we wanted to go. Lots of restaurants, breweries, shopping to enjoy. Lucy’s house was comfortable and beautiful. Lots of space and had everything you needed. Thank you Lucy. We will be back!

great little gem! adorable house that is surprisingly incredibly spacious. the kitchen is large and equipped with everything you need. tons of beds and each room is really comfortable. the property is so pretty and peaceful. we stayed up far too late around that fire pit too! we will absolutely be back. Rachel is a great host too. excellent communication and was willing to work with us. definitely recommend staying here!

Emma and Jamey’s home was very welcoming and peaceful. It was a great space for me and my family to bond and create new memories, especially in the backyard. The quaint town and Mississippi reminded us a lot of home. Plenty of space for my family. Not too far from things to do in LaCrosse. We loved the privacy of it and the home provided all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be back!

Great stay! Beautiful location with great view and access to lake. Home was clean and just as described. Host was responsive and made for a seamless stay. Will be back. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay! Right off the highway but still felt tucked away. It had everything we needed for a good stay!

Linda's place was fantastic - as was Linda. She was incredibly responsive and worked really hard to get the pool up and running as quickly as possible during our stay (a gift considering the unusually hot weather we had in early May during our stay). The house was immaculate and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen supplies, toys for the kids, linens, and plenty of spaces for people to relax and unwind. We loved it so much we are hoping to either return to Linda's place one day or get a place of our own in Chippewa Falls.

Such a lovely condo. Kurt was so responsive and helpful. So clean and smelled good as well. Everything was amazing and perfect. Will definitely be booking this amazing condo again.

Angela was wonderful! The home was beautiful, and spotless! She supplied many cooking utensils and lots of kitchen supplies which made meals easy! Our group of 10 stayed here comfortably and we can’t wait to come back! Angela responded promptly with any questions we had and made sure we felt welcome! The price is incredible, this home can’t be beat!

Very happy with our stay! The pictures online don’t do this place justice! Plenty of space to host a large family, inside and outside! The host really thought about all the details to bedding, the amount of towels, outside, inside furniture to even having walking paths with lights. We even ran into an issue with the garbage cans outside filling up sooner then we thought and once I reached out to the host less than an hour he had someone come empty them and bring an extra bin. The stay felt welcoming and safe being in someone else’s home. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends!

Beautiful location & views, whether sunrise, sunset or stargazing. Peaceful & quiet. The kitchen appliances, utensils, outdoor grill, and stores in Richland Center (special mention for Richland Center Locker) make this a great place for people who like to cook their own meals. Beds and furniture left us rested and relaxed. Hope for clear skies during your stay so you can stargaze with minimal light pollution and listen to the coyotes and barred owls around the fire pit. Having a washer and drying was great especially after a busy day hiking, on the water or whatever way you enjoy the Driftless region. Thanks, Gloria & Jeff.

This was the perfect escape. It was incredibly quiet and so relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, everything was very clean with amenities that went above and beyond expectations. The decor was beautiful and so inviting. The little details that were thought of and incorporated around the property were great. It was like having an Easter egg hunt for Sasquatches. It was wonderful to have the lake so close. When we took out the kayaks and paddle boat we had the entire lake to ourselves. It was wonderful hearing the sounds of nature sitting around fire pit, putting our phones down and enjoying meaningful family time. We had a hard time leaving this little slice of heaven!

Lori was super responsive. place was exactly what we wanted for a two day state park tour. very private.

Carolene's place is such a gem! Beautiful and peaceful. We especially appreciated the provided list of places to check out/things to do in the area. Highly recommend the local Amish bakery if you happen to be there on a Friday or Saturday.

This home was very peaceful and serene. It provided us a much needed reset from our busy lives back home. We loved that it was close to all the things we wanted to do and was very private. The peacock is an interesting addition. He is beautiful and definitely makes his presence known with his various calls at all hours of the day!

This is the second time we've stayed here and it won't be the last. It is in a secluded woods. The only other human noise was the faint sound of a farmer's tractor. It was a relief to get away from the news on the television and radio. Although if we had to get a media fix, the internet is fast and reliable. Our favorite parts of the cabin are: the porches, especially the screen porch; the cabin decor; the spacious shower with the deluxe shower head; comfortable beds and linens; and several mIles of hiking trails. My spouse is a birder so he was in heaven. He even added a pair of warblers to his lifetime list. (I am not sure what species.)
