We have done our upmost to ensure you have a wonderful relaxing stay. Within walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the coastal walk. Cosy 2 bed detached cottage. Off-road parking for several cars. Small village just in North Wales; 3 mi from the A55, easy access to M53, M56 , M6. Penyffordd has 2 pubs, a bistro cafe, specialist butchers and convenience stores, in short walking distance. Steps away from lovely countryside walks. Further afield Chester, Mold, Moel Famau and Cwlydian range are a short drive. Snowdonia, Bala and Anglesey approx 1 hour away. Penyffordd has a train station with links to Liverpool and Manchester.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Melsmere Lodge is a 2 bedroomed thatched cottage on the side of a private 1.5 acre lake and is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

The Shippen barn for Open Golf and Crosby Beach

‘The Shippen’ is a barn conversion, once part of a small dairy farm. High beamed ceilings give a spacious, rustic feel, and the double sided log burner makes the living spaces cosy. A ‘home from home’ that many guests return to. Open weekend at Royal Birkdale available. Golf Links courses line the Sefton coast from Crosby to Southport. Ideally located for Aintree racecourse, ‘Another Place’ at Crosby Beach. A short drive to Knowsley Safari Park and Aughton - Michelin Star capital of the North!

Stunning Views, Hot Tub, 5 minutes to Chester

Pipers Ash is a quaint small hamlet surrounded by green belt, set at the highest point of Chester next to the historical millennium beacon. Perfectly situated just two miles from the beautiful historic Chester city centre. Take a short car ride or just half an hours walk. Chester Zoo is just five minutes drive away. There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

Bellan Barn

The barn was converted in 2016 to a luxury holiday let, decorated with modern and traditional touches. The barn is spacious and comfortable, with its own patio and shared use of the garden. The barn is next to our family home. We welcome families, business guests, walkers, couples and furry friends. The barn makes an ideal touring base for our local area, is within easy reach of great pubs and restaurants, theatres, market towns, plus the beaches/castles of Wales Coast/Snowdonia/Chester.

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Hope Cottage is a superb, newly renovated, self-contained, sandstone cottage with off-road parking, garden and fabulous views across the Sandstone Trail. With a strong french influence this 1-bedroomed property is an ideal getaway for a romantic break and an excellent base to explore Cheshire, North Wales and the beautiful local countryside. Located beneath Bickerton Hill, Hope Cottage is set in a small rural village. The cottage is NOT suitable for children.

Grooms Cottage - an idyllic Cheshire rural retreat

Grooms Cottage is adjacent to our home in the charming hamlet of Tiverton, near Tarporley, Cheshire. Built in the Victorian era, the cottage was accommodation for a groom to facilitate hunting and shooting parties from the hunting lodge and stables. Guests are provided with a breakfast welcome pack upon arrival consisting of Croissant, butter, Twinings tea, selection of Tassimo coffee pods, organic milk & Wilkin & Sons preserves, all sealed.

This Grade 2 Listed cottage is in the heart of the beautiful Port Sunlight Village on the Wirral. It is ideally located for exploring this stunning historic village as well as the Wirral peninsula, Cheshire and Merseyside. Port Sunlight train station is a five minutes work, with direct trains to Liverpool and Chester leaving every few minutes We are sure you will enjoy staying here. Nestled in the grounds of The Old Vicarage, this charming Coach House offers a cosy base for families and small groups. Within easy reach of fantastic pubs, restaurants, theatres, market towns, beaches, castles and even Snowdonia. Relax in the beautiful log-fuelled hot tub seating up to seven people, enjoying the stunning views across Chester and the Wirral. All logs are provided for both the log fire and hot tub.
