A gorgeous few days at Duke’s Cottage - perfect place to rest for a few days, with lovely local walks and views. Cottage even nicer than photos / description suggests, and feels recently refurbished/ high standard. Philip and Jo are warm and generous hosts. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back!
A view from the entrance showcases an open-plan kitchen and dining area beyond a threshold. Light wood flooring extends throughout the space, while a breakfast bar with high stools is visible. A welcome mat lies at the foot of the entrance, enhancing the cozy atmosphere.

Idyllic Cottage, Butterton

PhilippaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My friends and I really enjoyed our weekend stay at Easter Cottage. The cottage has so much character and charm, yet is well equipped with up-to-date facilities and everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. Although we had rain during our stay in Butterton there was still plenty to do, lots of local walks and visits to nearby Bakewell and Haddon Hall. We would thoroughly recommend it!

Had loveliest stay at this beautiful and stylish cottage set in the middle of a peaceful and green cycle path. So so clean and gorgeous, had everything you needed and Gail and her partner were so friendly and lovely and extremely helpful! Cannot recommend this place enough and was worth every penny! So much to do and see around - a short and beautiful cycle to Thors Cave. We will definitely be back!

Cosy Cottage , Dog Friendly, Nr Peak District

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Such a gem! We had a wonderful 17 night stay at John's lovely cottage. Excellent amenities, ideal location to explore on foot and further afield by car. Felt very much home from home. Local pubs were welcoming, the village store was well stocked, and the local butcher's was excellent...the best pork pie I've ever had! John was helpful and a brilliant host. We had the added pleasure of the lovely brown cows at the end of the garden. Highly recommend.
