the city and location with views is unbeatable. bed was comfortable. not sure if listed anywhere but you do need to bring own soaps and such.

The apartment was serene, situated perfectly overlooking the town of Zermatt with the Matterhorn right in front, breathtaking view to wake up to each day. The amenities were plush, and my family had an incredibly comfortable and relaxing stay. Judith is a warm, welcoming host who went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Zermatt at its finest!

The accommodation is at the end of the hill, so if you have heavy luggage, be sure to leave it at the station. It's almost like climbing a mountain. There is a luggage storage next to the toilet on the 1st basement floor of the station, and 12 hours is 9 francs based on L size (28-inch carrier available), and 4 francs will be added if the time is over. At the first check-in, I met Martin, the owner, near the station and went up together. While going, we had a small talk, and if you want, he makes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (The price varies by menu, but the roast and sausage I had for dinner was 18 francs, and the omelet and coffee I had for breakfast was 9 francs) It was a lot and really delicious! The meal time was convenient. I didn't have cash, so I paid by card at a nearby grocery store and then sent the money to Martin's account. It was a house that shared a living room and a bathroom, and I could use the room alone, but it was very cozy and nice. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, hand wash, towels were all provided, and they gave us welcome drinks, postcards, and stickers! The view from the accommodation was really beautiful. It's beautiful during the day, but it's even more beautiful in the evening!! If you go up the mountain behind the accommodation for about 3 minutes, there is a place with a cross, where you can see the Matterhorn. Martin was very kind and took good care of me from the beginning to the end, and he gave me clothes as a gift. I didn't give him anything, but instead, I said that I would go with my boyfriend in a few years (if possible.. haha) And the Aufco shop near the station sells souvenirs cheaply, and if you go with Martin, you'll get a 10% discount!!

We loved our stay here. The location is a bit of a walk up a hill from town, but we love that! It was nice to walk off our meals and drinks, making it very worth it. The main benefit is the view of the Matterhorn! What an amazing view to wake up to every morning. The space itself is exactly what someone needs. Not too big, but big enough to stretch out and have a wonderful stay. The welcome basket was a super nice touch. That was a warm welcome of a treat. Great place for a couple! Very clean, updated, and well taken care of. Check in and communicate was great. Great water pressure as well. Highly recommend.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Valérie’s lovely apartment in Zermatt. From the moment we arrived, everything was cozy, clean, and full of warmth — just like being at home. This was our very first Airbnb stay in Switzerland, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Valérie is such a thoughtful and kind host, and her pink decor was a dream come true for me (I love pink!). The apartment is in a quiet location but still very convenient. We had a great rest, enjoyed the beautiful mountain views, and felt so welcomed during our stay. Thank you, Valérie, for your hospitality. We will definitely recommend your place to our friends and would love to return one day!

It is with great pleasure that I write this review of our stay at Haus Gloria in Zermatt. Our host Josianna greeted us at the Zermatt Train Station when we arrived. It had been a long travel day but when we entered our Airbnb the travel stress melted away. Everything was impeccable. Location was amazing- wonderfully quiet and just minutes to Furi Gondola as well as a few restaurants. Rooms had direct view of the Matterhorn. We had direct access to hiking trails; they were literally 2 minutes away. My sons and I truly appreciated that Josianna communicated with us throughout our stay keeping us informed with the latest information. It is important to mention that prior to coming here the forecast was for heavy snow. Within the first 24 hours of our arrival we received 3 feet of snow causing power loss throughout Zermatt; Josianna checked in on us every day and kept us informed about the status of repairs!
