The Nest At Walnut Tree Farm

Had a lovely stay at Wendy’s place. Really peaceful and lovely views. We forgot to bring an iron for clothes to wear to a wedding and Wendy was so lovely and helpful lending us an iron and ironing board. The bed was so comfortable and there was a really good fan in the room which was lovely for the warm weather. Had a very comfortable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Wendy was so friendly, such a lovely host. Thankyou for a lovely time

Rural hideaway w/king bed, view, log burner, walks

We loved our 5-day stay at Debbie's clean, comfortable cottage. The tranquil, rural setting was perfect for unwinding, and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. A walk along Hergest Ridge and browsing bookshops in Hay-on-Wye were our highlights. Debbie is a friendly, welcoming host and we thoroughly recommend 'Fox's Den' for anyone wanting a peaceful break.

A great space for my guests to call home during their stay in Herefordshire. Sue was super helpful prior to booking, providing the what 3 words location is so helpful and brings you directly here. The accommodation is just superb, it was such a lovely place to be - spacious and clean and in beautiful grounds. Sue was also really helpful during the stay and was very responsive to questions/requests. Thanks so much Sue.

Charming Rustic Farmhouse & Barn

HannahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Myself and a group of friends had a great stay at Lucy's! The barns were lovely and homey, and the setting was beautiful to sit out and have a bbq in the evening. The kitchen was really well equipped and the communal spaces a great size for us as a group to socialise in the evening. Check in and out was easy and communication always quick too :)

Upper Barn

The setting of the property is what dreams are made of if you're after complete peace and quiet with beautiful surroundings. I booked the property to stay with a small group of girl friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. The property is lovely and spacious and well equipped with all you could need to be self sufficient for a few days. It was a welcome surprise to find milk in the fridge and ample tea, coffee and sugar. The views from the property are stunning and the peace and quiet - apart from a few neighbourly sheep - means you have complete privacy. There are footpaths right through the property gate, leading down past a lake or upward towards Arthur's Stone. The instructions that Sue had sent to us prior to arrival really helped us to locate the house in such a rural location. Hay-on-Wye was a short drive away where we were able to pick up a takeaway one evening as well as potter around during the day. I'd highly recommend!

Our stay was incredible. It was quiet, peaceful with beautiful views from the treehouse. The kitchen was so well equipped which made cooking meals so much fun! We also got so many recommendations on what to do around the area and every single place we stopped by did not disappoint. Everything was extremely neat and clean, and we loved the way the space was decorated. Overall a 10/10 experience, would definitely be back!!

Laburnum Cottage, Kington: on Welsh borders

A surprisingly spacious annex in a quiet location but very close to the main road for getting out and about in the area. Auriol was the perfect host, contacting me several times before my trip to give me useful information and explaining things well when I arrived.

Apple Bough Cottage

We had a lovely week at Apple Bough Cottage while visiting the Hay Festival. Pearl and Jon were warm and friendly and we enjoyed giving the two horses a carrot each day. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we have fallen in love with Herefordshire. It was our first time at the Hay Festival and we loved it. We really had a week to remember, thank you Pearl and Jon.
