Cabin vacation rentals in Wiltshire

Me, my partner and puppy went for a 3 night escape from the world and that is exactly what we got. The pod itself was very cozy, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the hot tub just topped it off it was absolutely perfect! Perfect for all, if you’re wanting to go exploring or just stay in. We went for a few walks around different places but as we don’t live too far we wanted to just chill in the hot tub, play games and shut ourselves off. Paris, Matt & Bobby 🐾

We stayed the week of 26th may 2025 and I have to say the lodge itself was immaculate and clean, very spacious and comfortable. We were in need of a travel cot for our 4 month old and the quick responses and quick actions taken to get this sorted for us was amazing. The lodge had everything we needed and also was walking distance from everything such as the swimming pool, restaurant, arcades, etc. We would certainly book here again in the future, Many thanks Tyrone

We both had a lovely stay at Otter 4 lodge! We arrived a little earlier than the stated check in but Luke was on hand to let us in as the lodge was ready. The lodge was great and the hot tub was a fantastic extra for ultimate relaxation overlooking the pond. There are geese on the pond which can be a little noisy, but that is part of being in the countryside and we loved it and added something a little special to our stay. There is also a lovely pub a stones throw away (you can see this from the lodge) and is definitely worth a visit, the food was delicious! We didn't really leave the lodge except to go for a walk around the area. If you go right out of Hunters lodge there are beautiful nature reserves and we even spotted a Muntjac deer! There are also a few geocaches, if this is your thing. Definitely recommend Hunters moon for a relaxing break away. Thank you for having us :)

This cabin is truly breathtaking, the photos honestly don’t do it complete justice which says a lot! Everything has been well thought out, and the cabin has a lovely rustic feel to it whilst having a few modern comforts as well. Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back again for longer!

Beautiful surroundings and well maintained accommodation exactly as described plenty of room for young family all interactions with Tracey were prompt and informative there was no need to contact Tracy during out stay we had no problems The accommodation was clean, well equipped and cosy. There was only a short walk to the swimming pool and restaurant. Hot tub a real bonus . There were supermarkets 10 mins by car to stock up but a store on site Plenty for kids and adults to do Restaurant not too expensive Soft play, indoor pool and outdoor park facilities great Pool facilities were clean with plenty of family changing cubicles Outdoor pool and some activities were not available due to the timing of our stay we only stayed a weekend before the season started but looking at the season activities this site offers an amazing selection of activities for all ages. Lots to see locally if you were to stay longer All the staff were polite and helpful Would highly recommend.

We had the most amazing stay at Foxes Den! The place was peaceful, beautifully set up, and perfect for a birthday celebration. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, and the outdoor space was ideal for relaxing. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special and quiet escape in nature!

Great escape , on-site bar/resturant was really handy and warminster was close by for essentials. Hot tub was warm and clean. Was a little worried after reading reviews but our cabin (Magpie 2) was clean and decoration was fresh. Shower was powerful always had warm water and kitchen oven worked well and had all needed items.

what a beautiful venue. Time and Debra were great hosts, accommodating, clear info and very clean. we felt just at home and had everything we needed. the pitch and put golf was a great addition, beautiful scenery and lovely walks. Just what we needed.

Beautiful relaxing stay, lovely outdoor space to enjoy a glass of wine and overlooking the countryside. Shepherd Hut was perfect for us and had everything you need. Would love to visit again.

This is a really beautiful place in the heart of nature. Technically it’s ’off grid’, so no electric lighting or heating (although you can charge your phone, and there is solar heating for the shower); but that, along with the composting loo and basic but efficient kitchen facilities, was fine for me. For those with greater demands, there is a barn nearby with ‘proper’ kitchen and shower room. The main thing was the totally idyllic and peaceful setting. Sue and Jeff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts.

The lodge was perfect for my needs, two nights as I competed in Cotswolds middle distance triathlon. I've never used Airbnb before and I was pleasantly surprised at how cute and functional the lodge was. A lot of effort has gone into the interior (and I loved the book selection in the bookcases). Everything that I needed was there with lots I didn't use (eg biscuits). A lovely and quiet location. If I enter the same race next year, I'll certainly try and book this lodge again!

It's a very beautiful space, thoughtfully decorated and has everything you might need including lots of books and games for little ones. I would absolutely stay again if the price were a little bit lower. It's a stretch to pay that per night for a family get away which was why we were only able to stay the one night. Anne was lovely, responsive and helpful. I slept beautifully on a very comfy bed with lovely linen. The view from the room into the garden and under the mulberry tree is sublime and the kids loved having an explore around the garden.

Francis is very friendly and helpful. Always quick to respond to text messages and help where he can. There was milk in the fridge and a vase of fresh cut roses when we arrived. Francis advised us of local pubs and where to walk our dog and we had everything we needed to light the fire in the lounge. Would be happy to stay there again if we’re in the area. Thank you Francis for a lovely welcoming stay.

We had a wonderful stay, location is beautiful and so peaceful - perfect for a quiet getaway.

The lodge looks exactly how been described, everything you need for stay is inside, very clean.The location is perfect for those who are looking for peaceful places and who want to discover Cotswolds. We really enjoyed to stay at the lodge and definitely will return back. Highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Great location to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas. The cabin is comfortable and spacious with everything you need for a short break.

Lovely place to stay! We were a group of 9 and they were very accommodating prior to our stay, setting the beds up how we wanted and adding an extra chair to the table. It was clean, attractive, and had all the amenities we needed to cook for ourselves. Swimming in the lake followed by the sauna was a highlight. Overall a wonderful weekend stay even in drizzly February!

This location really does live up to the description of an oasis. It feels completely removed from the bustle of the roads and has been curated to feel like a relaxing escape. Mac and John were extremely helpful, even picking up a late evening message asking about the lights outside. We really enjoyed our time in this space and would definitely come back.

Beautiful location, tucked away in the heart of Wiltshire. Silent at night, and brilliant during the day. Whilst we only used it as a place to stay for one night, it was clear that it was a perfect place to spend a long weekend exploring the local area. Tim & Mia were great hosts, very welcoming and great makers of Marmalade & Peanut butter biscuits. Will likely be returning in the near future. Double thumbs up from us! 👍🏽👍🏽

This cabin was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfy. The kitchen was the right size. Plenty of parking. It was really lovely to sit out and watch the wildlife. We saw a hare everynight running through the field. Private, cosy and comfortable. Stourhead is just down the road which is brilliant and it's a perfect midpoint between Bristol and Weymouth
