Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Wiltshire

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Matthew and Jane's B&B. The location was peaceful with lovely views over the countryside and Matthew and Jane were friendly and attentive hosts. We were welcomed with hot drinks on arrival which was lovely after a long drive. Making arrangements to arrive was easy with good, clear communication from Jane. Every room was spotless and tidy and the beds were comfortable with quality mattresses, pillows and sheets. Breakfast was delcious and Jane was keen to ensure we all had a breakfast we would enjoy with options to choose from. We would definitely stay again. Thank you both.

Clean place and a friendly welcome, even the farm dog came up to us wagging its tail. A tasty English breakfast crowned the whole thing. Highly recommended as a base to explore the area. Should be reserved at the local inn

I enjoyed staying at Olivia’s lovely home. The room and en-suite were perfect and the location was minutes from Frome’s high street. I’d highly recommend Olivia’s place to anyone looking to explore Frome. I was able to park my van on the street and leave it there for the duration of my stay while I explored on foot. A great way to see Frome and made possible by Olivia’s wonderful location.

Perfect accommodation + perfect host = happy customers! This was the perfect pit stop for our journey to LEGOLAND. The room was the perfect size for 2 adults, 2 children and a baby. Breakfast was in the room and ample for all of us to set us up for our busy day. Host was extremely responsive throughout. It was a shame The Tally Ho pub is closed on a Monday (understandable reasons for why they don’t open) as food and a cold beverage downstairs would have been perfect. Note: if finding food in Hungerford please avoid The Bear pub. Lots of other lovely looking eateries in the lovely town.

We had the best time with Rosie. She is a wonderful host who frequently checks if there is anything you need for the day and adapts to your needs. There is a lot of private space to be on your own, if you so wish. But I would recommend getting to know your host because she is an amazing lady. Very knowledgeable, good stories and sense of humour and it is just a pleasure to chat with her. She has travelled the world, there is beautiful and interesting art in every room. The breakfast is delicious with lots of fresh local produce and if she offers to cook supper for you, dont pass up on the offer!

We enjoyed our stay at Jules place, it was a lovely room, very comfortable and exactly what we wanted. The hosts were very welcoming and the check in process was easy.

We really enjoyed our stay with Fiona. The property is beautiful and she was an amazing host. The breakfast was spectacular!

After a long rainy day on the Cotswold trail, the Bell was like heaven! The place was immaculate, had great lighting, comfortable bed and was quiet - we did not hear the road at all.. We didn't peruse the neighborhood, but ate at the restaurant instead, which was excellent! The included breakfast was also very very good and the staff were excellent - helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely weekend getaway here in a very cosy en-suite room in this old former farm house. The house was very quirky with an interesting history and pretty gardens with lots of daffodils. The area is quiet and rural - perfect to switch off. Susan and Anthony were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Breakfast had continental and cooked options and was delicious. We would love to come again if we are in the area!

We ate in the pub both nights as the food was amazing! Braised lamb with minted mash the first night and steak and chips the next, delicious! Service is quick and the staff are very friendly. We took our dog with us and we were able to sit in the bar area while we had dinner. When we had a question we received a response almost immediately. Would highly recommend :)

Great breakfast, not too far from the town, and next to some cracking views in Alexandra Park. We had a good stay in spite of the heat; Chris was very helpful during our stay.

Thankyou so much for a lovely stay! The room is beautifully decorated, and situated in such a picturesque area with all the beauty of nature around. There are so many carefully considered touches, which has a guest make you feel so at home and comfortable. The quality of everything felt very luxurious and the space was so clean and beautifully presented. We opted for the buffet breakfast and were bowled over by Johns incredible baking and preserves – utterly heavenly! He was such an affable and friendly host and we would highly recommend this place to others. Hopefully we will be able to return to this peaceful haven before long!

The Old Chapel was a great place to stay. It was a beautiful building in a peaceful setting with a wonderful garden. Sue was a fantastic host and very responsive, the property was very clean and had all the amenities that you needed. Sue provided breakfast on both mornings and was extremely welcoming to us and the children (who loved playing in the garden!). We will definitely return! Thank you x

Staying with Alison is just perfect and I really look forward now to my visits to Dorset and Somerset. The views are sensational and the facilities are perfect and Alison is such a wonderfully natural person to be around with - what more could you ask for really whether you are in from a working day or on holiday? This was a real unexpected pleasure. Dee's place was very simple, but oh, so relaxing. The pile of old Country Living magazines by the bed to read, the lovely warm bedroom with the bathroom opposite, just waiting for me to have a bath. There were lots of little sweet touches, and her breakfast was incredible - I just couldn't believe the amazing spread she put on when the cost of the room was so reasonable. Her hospitality was faultless - giving and responsive while also non-invasive. I slept like a log, and the following morning when I awoke in my own bed I felt a little sad that I couldn't go down the stairs to such a lovely breakfast again!

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

We would give 10 Stars- if possible :) We had a wonderful time at Arlene’s charming cottage in Lechlade, perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds. The cottage is cozy, beautifully decorated, and spotless, with many thoughtful touches like bathrobes, slippers, a fridge, tea maker, and coffee machine – everything you need to feel right at home. The rose garden is absolutely lovely and adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was fantastic – generous, delicious, and prepared with so much care. Arlene is a truly lovely and welcoming host, and her little dog Daisy is simply adorable. We would love to come back – highly recommended!

Chris was excellent at communicating before arrival. Clear instructions and a What3Words location meant that the house was easy to find, despite it being down narrow and slightly confusing lanes. On arrival Chris couldn't have been more welcoming. The bedroom has a lovely feel, clean and tidy, but also full of books and rugs and pictures. The bed is very comfortable and the village is very quiet. I would definitely book again.

We had a fabulous short stay with our two sausage dogs. Ideal base for a quick visit to see local family. Lovey little touches with the milk, bread etc. Would highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A return visit to this lovely part of England and to model AirBNB hosts John and Kathy who do more than go the extra mile, they do a marathon! So comfortable and peaceful here. Sorry we couldn't stay longer! Wishing them well in the future.
