Welcome to our home on a stream in Turbenthal. The house was built in 2017 and is very modern. There is a communal playground and children are very welcome. There are three free parking spots. The house overlooks a beautiful stream and there are beautiful walks, hikes and cycling straight from the house. Migros and Coop supermarkets are walking distance. The house is under 5 mins walk from the train station, Zurich is 47 mins by train and Winterthur 25 mins away. Trains are every 30 mins.

Elsau liegt an der Stadtgrenze zu Winterthur. Ländlich und doch in Stadtnähe. Besuche Winterthur mit seinen Cafés, Museen, dem Technorama oder den Musikfestivals! Zürich ist mit dem Zug und Auto in 30min zu erreichen. Ebenso aber der Rheinfall oder die Grenze zu Deutschland und Österreich. Die Unterkunft verfügt über einen eigenen Eingang sowie einen Parkplatz, ist nahe der Bus- oder Zughaltestelle. Im Sommer kann der hauseigene Pool nach Absprache mitbenutzt werden. Ideal for uncomplicated minimalist and adventure. *From November, the tiny house switches to winter operation, i.e. the beach house is not available. Heating in the tiny house & greenhouse is available. Showering is possible with the shower caddy outdoor, but this requires a little effort.*

Farmhouse room with lovely charm

In our restored farmhouse we rent a cozy, wheelchair-accessible attic apartment with elevator, spread over 2 floors. The upper bedroom can be reached via a wooden staircase (not wheelchair accessible). My accommodation is in the middle of the village in the countryside, but very close to the nearest cities of Frauenfeld and Winterthur. The bus stop is 100m from the Airbnb. It's ideal for couples, adventurers traveling alone, business trips and families (with children).

The accommodation is located in rural Hochfelden. Zurich Airport can be reached in 15 minutes by car and Zurich City in 40 minutes. Every 30 minutes, a bus leaves that offers various connections. Zurich Airport and Zurich City can be reached in 45 minutes. To make your stay more comfortable, I offer a reliable shuttle service to Zurich Airport, Zurich City and Bülach train station for a fee. So you can arrive and depart stress-free.

Welcome to our cozy and quiet place to stay. Enjoy a few relaxing days, let your mind wander. For example, with a good glass of wine and the view from the balcony of the small harbor of Wangen, whose lighting is reflected in the evening in the lake, an extended walk, a hike nearby or a trip by biking or car to one of the cultural-historical places or towns in the vicinity. In the evening, quick to swim in the lake.
