Once again. Our second visit to The Noddle. Top review for this wonderful property. Lots of quirky lovely additions to the decor. The hosts fabulous artwork on the walls throughout were a delight. All we needed was at hand, and plenty of room for all 6 of us on our mahjong game tour. Clear instructions for all the carefully maintained heating units and other electrical appliances and all wall switches/sockets clearly labelled. Lovely maintained house and garden-including the 'secret garden'. A great decking with comfy chairs to sit in the sunshine and listen to nature... and count the bunnies! What more can I say.? Thank you Tony and Penny for letting us stay in this wonderful place.

What a little gem of a house. So close to everything with Dornoch town just a gentle walk up the road. Peaceful surroundings in a safe little neighbourhood. The house was just perfect with not a thing out of place. Sarah and Liam have thought of everything and the bed is so comfy. Warm house, spotlessly clean abode! I can't wait to get back as Dornoch is truly spectacular, and this place is the perfect spot to stay. Liam and Sarah a wonderful hosts too making the stay all the more special!!

This was a lovely house and a good base for exploring Caithness. The house was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot. The house was lovely and warm to combat the chilly weather outside! Our hosts were friendly and check in / check out was simple. There was plenty of room for the 10 people in our party. Our children particularly enjoyed the sand dunes at Dunnet Bay and rock pooling at Ham Harbour - even in the rain. There was a nice walk from nearby Lybster Harbour along the cliff tops.

My friends and I loved the space and light and comfort of the Kirk. We came all the way from Norfolk on trains and ferries and fell in love with the land and seas and community of Hoy. The peace is deep here ... no background hum. I love to see the sea around me. We cycled over to Rackwick Bay which was exhilarating and went to cafe church at Emily's which was connecting. Fantastic place, absolutely no issues. Great value for money considering the size of the place. Host was very good at communicating, very quick responses to all questions.

Amazing location and lovely accommodation. Very good value for money and the cabin was perfect. Very clean bathroom cabin. Peaceful view and great sunset. Would highly recommended.

Spent 2nights at Marilyn's chalet, and have to say, we were so glad we chose here to stay. The accommodation was everything we needed and more! Marilyn was on hand to give advice on the surrounding area and was the perfect host. The location was 2 minutes away from the most amazing beach, we hope to be able to visit again in the near future and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Lovely cottage in easy reach of local amenities and golf club. We all thought it was great.

Lovely place to stay, felt very homely. Wonderful views and even better that there were no neighbours in the immediate vicinity which our reactive doggy appreciated, along with the big enclosed garden. Would definitely stay here again, well worth the price paid.

Right in the town centre seconds away from the free public carpark. Spotlessly clean and tidy place over 3 floors. Takes dogs. Great place to stay when doing the NC500.

The host was helpful, and the location was perfect for my colleague, making travel to and from work very convenient. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a pleasant stay.

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful view of the beach and surrounding area. We got lucky and saw the northern lights! The place was super cozy. Loved the extra effort the hosts put in to make sure we had everything we needed, which included a dog bed, doggy treats and board games. The Christmas tree and bottle of Prosecco were a much appreciated bonus. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

A peaceful stay in the clean and well decorated birdbox during lambing with views over the strath. We took our corgi Nana along who loved laying on the grass listening to the birds and sheep. There were plenty amenities available to prepare meals. The hottub was very cosy even as temperatures dropped. Easy to access the north coast to go sightseeing.

This is a really unique stay and I spent a good part of my time there looking out at sea wondering when I would next be able to come back. So that should tell you how much I liked it! It’s at a lighthouse, so as you would expect, it’s at the end of a long road (which is very bumpy in places!). Then you get to the cosy house, with a wood fire, and well stocked kitchen with welcome treats. Alan is very friendly as are the dogs and the chickens! My child loved feeding them every morning. The fresh farm eggs were such a treat. Cantick Head itself is stunning and we loved being in the hot tub and sauna. Note to other guests- all these are wood powered so stock up on firewood before you arrive (you can buy bags at the shop next to the Lyness ferry). My mum took one of the bikes out and we all enjoyed walking the coastline. This is a special stay, don’t hesitate to book!

The pod had a great view on the coast and is located at a field of the cows. Inside the pod is very cosy, clean and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. 10/10

What an incredible place! With the amazing views and incredible sunrise, it’s a place not to miss out on! Sarah was so accommodating, allowing us to come a day early on very short notice. Providing us with all the essentials we needed for the stay (also for the doggo) , local recommendations of where to go and an overall incredible host. Thankyou Sarah for an amazing weekend

Beautiful location only stayed for one night due to our plans we could have stayed longer and if we return will definitely rebook

This is a wonderfully quiet place but within easy walking distance of the town and facilities. Exactly as described comfortable and spotless, the host provided excellent instructions and directions. Enjoyed our time there. Loved the peace and quiet but also found plenty to do in Wick, we would recommend the Heritage centre and the family history section at Nucleus both with very friendly staff.

Lovely, homely cottage. Felt at home straight away, the garden was so full of wildlife and the hot tub was a great bonus.
