Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Whitsand Bay

A delightful secluded residence facing out over farmland. Although there is a farm and there are homes in converted farm buildings close by, you would hardly know they were there; the property has a separate entrance to the main farm that it shares with one other dwelling, which again you would hardly know was there. The property is as described and well equipped. Although the garden is very small, this is not really a problem with so much open countryside on the doorstep. Rich George was very helpful, responding quickly to our queries before arrival and welcoming us warmly with helpful advice when we got there but otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. The climbing roses surrounding the decked area were divine. We can recommend North Sands beach as a paradise for dogs if they like the water; our visit was in early June and, on all but one occasion, we managed to park in one of the four road side parking spaces at the top of the beach (free for 2 hours) rather than pay to use

I can honestly say that this is one of the best AirB&Bs I've stopped in. It was perfect in every way - spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, spectacular views from the two small balconies, and ideally located for all the action around the harbour area. In terms of location it's on the hillside of West Looe, which affords fantastic views, but in terms of walking down to the harbour and back there are a lot of steps or sloping roads/footpaths, so be prepared for this (or drive down). I met Martin a few times and he was great to chat to, very friendly, and was able to recommend a few very good pubs. Overall I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

The cottage is well placed for weddings at Polhawn fort which is a short walk away with amazing views along the way. It is very spacious, warm and clean and is well stocked with toiletries and everything we needed in the kitchen. The appliances in the kitchen were easy to understand and use. The delicious apple juice left in the fridge was much appreciated as was the milk, tea, coffee etc. Our grandson enjoyed running around the garden which has plenty of seating and tables. There are some good walks from the door and it would be good to go back for longer next time to explore the area. We had to drive down some narrow roads to reach the cottage but fortunately the roads weren't busy.

Swallows Nest is a very attractive and comfortable place to stay and is in a perfect location for seeing the interesting historical sites in the area. Angela has thought of absolutely everything in her holiday cottage and it's clear how much creative thought has been put into it. She has ensured her visitors have a truly relaxing stay, a very comfortable bed, lovely thick, large bath towels, a kitchen equipped with every item one could possibly need and a very comfortable seating area. Outside, the lovely private garden has a table and chairs and sun loungers and one can enjoy the wonderful views. Angela and Phil are a delightful, kind, warm, friendly, welcoming couple and we really appreciated the fresh eggs and chocolates they kindly left for us. We feel very fortunate to have found such a lovely place to stay and can highly recommend it.

We loved are stay, it was beautiful, peaceful, felt like you were miles from anywhere. Great hosts, very quick response to messages. It was a little hot the first night so we ask if they had a fan and they supplied one strait away. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Highly recommend

one of the best places we have stayed in hosts are very friendly the den is spotless and well equipped got everything you need and more fantastic value for money definitely go back ten out of ten 😀

We really enjoyed our stay at the studio! Very well equipped with everything you might need, and a great location within walking distance of both Looe and Polperro. Mary was a great host, very responsive with great recommendations for the area.

The perfect place for a getaway. We did some of the local walks suggested in the welcome book, and some beautiful beaches weren't too far away in the car. We especially loved Bigbury - and so did the dogs. This is a lovely well equipped home just a short walk away from the village amenities. The Dolphin Inn is highly recommended and everyone we met was so friendly. We'll definitely be back!

This is basic but comfortable accommodation. Friendly and very helpful host. A great base for visiting various coastal and rural locations within an hour's drive, including Dartmoor, north and south Cornish coast.

Would definitely book here again. Perfect pad for two just a 10 minute walk into Padstow. It’s very cosy and homely. Rob and Debbie were the cutest hosts, they thought of everything! They were great for recommendations and local info and were very quick to respond in a friendly manner. Good parking spot outside too.

Perfect 2 day stay for a wedding in the area. Kairen was super quick to respond to any questions and offered early check in if needed. Lovely place with every amenity we could have needed including a magical milk frother and some very thoughtful welcome snacks which were much appreciated after a long drive! Kairen was incredibly friendly and a delight to chat to, the majestic Percy the cat was also a particular highlight. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area, thank you again!

Honestly the photos do not do this place justice its incredible what a view and the host could not have been better extremely helpful, always there at request, respectful, polite all round wonderful person even made us scones to bake and the the towels shaped in to love hearts was a really nice touch they made us feel welcome and right at home would recommend to anyone thank you sheila for a great experience will be visiting again

Rockpool is a wonderful place to stay! Kay is a friendly, helpful and generous host. We appreciated the lovely treats left in the fridge for us. The location is peaceful and quiet and the accommodation is comfortable, very clean and well equipped.

Easy to find and some manageable steps to property. Nice beach and amazing views. Within walking distance or five minute drive from Looe-which was our main interest. Would happily book again. A fantastic short stay at a lovely apartment, with a beautiful view to wake up to or enjoy a sundowner with before heading out to dinner. We really enjoyed our stay and took advantage of some of Freya’s recommendations re food and shopping. Freya answers our quirked quickly and was always lovely to communicate with. An immaculately presented apartment and attentive yet not intrusive host. Everything was paid perfect attention to, family friendly yet modern, clean and cared for. In walking distance to everything in Plymouth, parking on the doorstep. It’s rare to find an air bnb that goes above and beyond but we truly felt like this one did. We would highly recommend.

Accurate description, Centrally located. Excellent communication pre and during our stay, Nia was very helpful in providing information and recommendations whilst visiting Totnes. Great central location — right on the Hoe and just a short walk to the Barbican, where there are plenty of lovely restaurants and pubs to enjoy. The flat itself is modern, clean, and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Check-in was really easy and hassle-free. Would definitely recommend!

My parents (and dogs) had the most amazing stay. Chris made them feel very welcome, was super helpful and an all round amazing host and they couldn’t recommend their stay enough. A lovely place in a beautiful location. The house was spotless with comfy beds and great kitchen facilities. Lovely to have tea, coffee and milk provided as well as a treat for our dog. A travel cot was also provided for our 5 month old which was great. The view from the decking is so peaceful and so quiet. Just the relaxing bank holiday weekend we were after.

A wonderful property which was perfect for our little family of 3 plus our dog. A superb location which was peaceful and tucked away from the daily chaos. The property was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Sitting in the hot tub taking in the beautiful view was just perfection.
