Waterfront vacation rentals in Whitewater Region

We loved our stay in Wakefield. Lynda's place is so lovely and full of charm and character. Located right on the main street in Wakefield you're steps away from local restaurants, the boardwalk along the river, shops and walking trails. We visit Wakefield often and stayed here while our house was getting some work done. The apartment was clean, cosy and comfortable. Really enjoyable stay.

Michael was a very responsive host. Really appreciate him and all he did to help us.

Had a great stay at Jeremy's place, he was an excellent host. His place is very close to the Neat caffe which made for an easy walk home after the concert. We loved the river view and the lodgings were awesome, we would love to be able to stay there again if Jeremy would have us.

Spacious bottom suite, ideal for a family. The host was extremely nice and helpful. The backyard was absolutely beautiful where we enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. Would definitely stay again when visiting Calabogie.

Michel’s place was really beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It had everything you need and more! We spent a week with our dog enjoying the perfect location and space. From hot tub to the pellet stove to the arcade game, this truly has everything you need to relax and enjoy. From pre check in to check out, Michel was an outstanding host who was always responsive and helpful. He is so kind and warm always willing to help if we needed anything at all. Truly a superb host! We really would love to come back someday.

A quiet relaxing stay even with the mix of dogs, goats, chickens, rabbit, pigs and ducks. Swimming in the lake was beautiful and hiking at Mont Morissette a must which is not far from Jennifer’s place. Definitely would recommend.

Craig's place was great! I was in town for a car racing weekend and it was only 5 minutes away from the track which was perfect after a long day. It had everything we needed and was in a beautiful area right on the lake. Will definitely book again when I am in town for racing next year and recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Calabogie.

The Heron's Nest is a beautiful apartment with two lovely outdoor spaces overlooking the river. it was very comfortable, with everything I needed and nothing I didn't. It is a great place to watch birds and wild critters - and the occasional cat, go about their daily affairs. Everything, including the pots, dishes, etc was squeaky clean, which I really appreciate as a guest. it's a quick walk to Almont's Mill Street and hiking trails. One thing to know is that the apartment is attached/under the family's living spaces, and right next to their laundry room, but overall it was not disruptive and very reasonable. I had a really nice time and hope to go back in the fall.

The lake house was a lovely stay. First of all, the lakefront is beautiful and I enjoyed dangling my feet in the water and watching the sunset from the fire pit. The space inside was immaculate, comfortable, well-designed, and spacious. I let Andrea know the WiFi router had an issue, and within minutes she was on the phone with the company resolving the issue for me. I definitely recommend this home and would gladly stay here again.

Very serene, private location with a fabulous deck to immerse yourself in nature. The leaves were very colorful, and we saw a family of 4 deer in the front yard! What an experience! The cottage is a beautifully restored farm house with updated conveniences as well as some personalized rustic touches, for example the sink in the bathroom is magnificent, and the dining table is huge and hand crafted so food could be served at one end and our pre schooler could work on puzzles at the other end. We enjoyed several campfires where our grandson roasted marshmallows for the first time. The cottage was well decorated and furnished, and very comfortable, especially for a multi generation family; it was even equipped with "fairy lights" in an upstairs bedroom. We had such a great time enjoying new adventures every day. Thank you Victoria for sharing your lovely rural property. We definitely plan on returning next year. We had a lovely stay at this cozy cottage right across the lake. The space was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic necessities. Kees was very responsive whenever we had questions, and we even got a chance to meet him while we were leaving. He is such a kind and welcoming person. The peaceful location and beautiful view made it a perfect getaway. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! We had a wonderful time at the cottage.We really enjoyed our stay,the view was incredible,the cottage was very clean and well organized .We are looking forward to visiting again.

The place is very nice, the kids liked the small sand beach. The water is very clean and nice to swim and fish. Views are amazing, and the store right across the street has everything you might need during the stay. Goran is great in communication.

Jamie was a very good host and was able to respond quickly to any questions I had. The Airbnb itself was easy to find and in a good area with great accommodations. It was very clean and definitely a good deal, especially with how close it is to Mont Ste Marie.

Great place to stay! Out cottage was a bit small in the living/kitchen area but we made due. Close to the public boat launch which had alot of traffic but that was ok. Water was beautiful and beach area was perfect. Goran was always available to help with questions about his place. My family and fur baby had a wonderful weekend away. The store across the street is dangerous if you have children who like ice cream lol
