Beachfront vacation rentals in Whitewater Region

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

We just got back from a lovely stay at the cottage on Spectacle Lake, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we truly had a great time. The rain kept us mostly indoors, but the cozy fireplace turned out to be a blessing we spent our time just relaxing, listening to the rain, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The cottage itself is tucked away in such a private, serene spot. Waking up to the sound of birds and looking out over the calm water from every window was incredibly calming. Everything was so clean and well cared for. Waking up to birdsong and calm water views from every window was such a treat. I was thrilled to finally spot a few beaver lodges in the Madawaska Valley — a small dream come true! The cottage was clean, the docks looked great, and having fresh drinking water available was such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. We didn’t get the clear skies we hoped for to stargaze, but that just gives us a reason to come back and we definitely will.

My son and I rented a place last year from Alison that set the tone really high for any future air b&b experiences and despite that one being an absolute blast we somehow were treated to an even more amazing experience at The Treehouse Cabin! This had everything we could have asked for, children's playstructure, fire pit, hot tub, hammock and chairs, outdoor seating, a gorgeous view of the water that we even managed to go swimming in despite it being early May. Awesome right? We haven't even touched on the interior. The cottage has the sort of charm that only these two could put on. Beautiful interior, Alison's best pillows,throw blankets, comfortable seating etc. Not to mention the fantastic carrot cake that I had been hoping for since last years rental! The master bedroom was about as relaxing a sleep as one could hope for and the cottage had everything one could possibly need. Before leaving we booked the cottage again! Thanks for giving us memories that will last forever!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Had such a relaxing time at the river nest and I would 100% recommend booking this spot. Will plan to go back in the future for sure!! Our hosts were so kind and made us feel right at home! The master bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, and if you like sitting by the fire you'll love the cozzy vibes! This was my second year staying at Guy's, you can be sure I'll keep on making that 3.5 hour drive from Montreal every year. We found out that there's trout lakes in the area that are stocked yearly. I've yet to try their charted fishing service, but it's on my things to do list. Guy is quick to respond to any of our question, you will be in safe hands on your stay. I'll probably try and book a second trip up before the summer is over, hoping the schedule isn't all booked up.

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Angela's place is great for a group getaway, she was helpful and easy to communicate with.

Clean modern style house, overlooking the water with a beautiful view. Definitely a summer place to rent to use the backyard with its swimming pool and bbq to spend time with friends

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The view of the water is absolutely stunning, and having such easy access made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying water activities. The place was peaceful, clean, and just as described. The only small thing we missed was a washer and dryer—especially after spending time on the water, it would’ve been helpful to dry our clothes. Still, overall a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a scenic getaway!

This was our 3rd time staying at Jennifer and Tom's beautiful cottage. It is a great location for day trips to Ottawa yet secluded enough to just relax. Fantastic hosts and lots of personal touches. Highly recommend.

Beautiful family stay! We brought two toddlers who loved hanging out on the dock, hanging out on the swing and eating on the picnic table on nice days. The DVD collection was awesome as well! No issue with hot spotting for anything else. One thing to note is the (gorgeous) glass table and winding staircase require a bit of extra supervision with young ones. Total paradise for young families or small groups :)

The cottage was immaculately clean (and I'm fussy !). Well organized, tastefully decorated with a beautiful view of the lake.... The sound of the waves lapping up on the beach while sleeping is really lovely! Would love to go back.

It’s always more comfortable staying in an Airbnb vs a hotel and Yvonne and Rob’s place was the most comfortable my family has ever been. For the 5 of us plus dog, a 2 night stay in a desirable location, we just wish we could have stayed longer. All the amenities you can think of and then some - including items for the beach which was right out front ! When AirBnB indicated it was a rare find - it really was a rare find and I suggest not waiting to book when you find it available. We will be back !

Gopinath has a beautiful home on the Ottawa River, just on the outskirts of home. Home is Beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. Will definitely keep this on the radar for future visits to town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lorie's cottage! The cottage was incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Despite the first two days being cold and rainy, we had a fantastic time indoors, spending quality time with our kids playing board games and doing puzzles. Once the weather improved, we took full advantage of the lake. The water was warm and perfect for swimming, and we loved having access to kayaks, a pedal boat, and paddle boards. It's the ideal place for a peaceful escape, and we would highly recommend Lorie's cottage to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.
