Battle Country Stay

SallyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Just had a glorious weekend here, celebrating my 50th birthday. Really was home from home (dog friendly too) had everything we needed and more. Excellent hosts, took the time to show us round, so kind. Hot tub was a fantastic bonus and lots of indoor and outdoor games which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Peaceful location and short walk to the quaint village of Battle, we hopped on the train and headed into Hastings for the day which was so much fun. Highly recommend and would love a repeat visit.

What a perfect little Air BnB! Literally everything you need, and more! The breakfast hamper, complete with milk and orange juice in the fridge, was an exceptional touch. Shower gel, shampoo and condition provided. Easy to find, very clear instructions, lovely location, adorable little private terrace and garden, luxurious bedding, walk-in shower and roll top bath. 11/10 ⭐️
A modern shower room features sleek, grey marble walls complemented by a glass cubicle. A white sink is positioned beneath a large mirror, with soft lighting above. A small vase of tulips adds a touch of color, while a neatly folded towel rests beside the sink.

The Old Parlour

Loved the cottage, not so keen on the lane approaching it as lots of pot holes. Beautifully peaceful and plenty of walking for my dog and I through the unoccupied adjoining fields. Would certainly have no compunction about recommending anyone to stay here, it’s lovely and relaxing.
A row of beach huts with blue and white stripes lines a pebbled beach. The calm sea extends into the distance under a clear blue sky. A paved pathway runs alongside the huts, inviting leisurely strolls while enjoying the beach scenery.

lovely little cabin with comfortable sleeping arrangement for 4 people (two adults and two kids). I've already recommended it to friends and we'll definitely be back. thank you for a lovely stay!

The Mews

We absolutely loved our stay at Saara’s home! While there was a small issue with the cleaning when we first arrived, the cleaners came promptly and had everything spotless in no time. The home is filled with natural light and has such a warm, welcoming vibe. We felt cozy and comfortable throughout our stay. The location is fantastic — everything we needed was within walking distance, so we didn’t need a car, though it’s great to know there’s off-road parking available. Saara was incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. We’d happily stay here again!

Carol's instructions to check in were very detailed and clear. The cottage was comfortable and full of character, and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Corn Bin

CarynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely week in the Corn Bin. We enjoyed the space and design of the house and its garden. In the evenings we could watch the sun go down through each of the windows in the living space and each window had a different view of the trees around the property. It was a great base to explore East Sussex but also to relax and enjoy walks into Seddlescombe. There is plenty to see and do in the area from the beautiful pebble beaches to the castles and historical villages and towns. It was our first visit to Sussex but I am sure we will be back!
