The Cottage, Fairings, was originally built as a farm building in the 17th century. It is a self contained cottage with exposed beams, a comfortable sitting/dining room with open access to the fully equipped kitchen storing everything needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Yetminster has a village shop, Old School Gallery cafe and The White Hart, a 16th century free house (serves food) all within a few minutes walk from the cottage. There are superb country walks from the doorstep.

The Shepherds hut is situated in its own woodland and is off grid. You will be able to take in the beautiful night sky and fall asleep to the tranquil sound of the stream trickling by and our owls twit twooing after a day of walking the coast line and visiting the RSPB at Arne . It has its own small log/coal burner to make it nice and cosy and there is a lovely comfy double bed to relax on. You will also hear the night time noises of our woodland friends -the foxes barking and the deer rutting

The harbour at West Bay (setting for ITV’s drama Broadchurch) is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The bustling historic town of Bridport is only 5 minutes by car or about 25 minutes on foot. There you will find a twice weekly street market, a variety of shops and a good choice of pubs and cafes. Both Bridport Leisure Centre and the Golf Club with driving range are nearby.

Although separate from the farmhouse, it is not self-contained, as there are no cooking facilities, other than a fridge, kettle and toaster. Breakfast provisions are provided for guests to have at their leisure.
