Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Weymouth and Portland District

I loved that it was light and airy, spotlessly clean, lovely little kitchen, private bathroom and shower were great, WiFi okay. Our host Linda was super welcoming, and very helpful throughout.... We'd definitely stay there again.!

This was Airbnb at its best. A cosy, comfortable room in someone's home where every effort was made to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The most delicious breakfast knocked up with apparent effortlessness and Louisa was charming and great company. Thank you so much.

Located just outside Weymouth, but with regular local bus #8 made it perfect. Just a short walk down to South West Coast path. Accommodation perfect and will pass on to friends.

For Americans who are used to "new" properties, coming to England is a bit different as most buildings are very old. I was looking for the least expensive I could find and m very happy I stayed with Charles' location. It was a good choice for the money. Charles was a good communicator and supplied my needs for an iron request. If you frequent Wimborne as I do you will love the location which is within a short walk to the town center.

This is a peaceful, no frills, relaxed place to stay. The building is wonderful and the grounds lovely.

Pleased to find this to stay. Samatha was very helpful and accommodating. A bright clean room with bathroom on the second floor of her home. Little microwave on the landing to heat up food if needed. Very close to town easy to get to. We can see why She's a SUPER Host.

Chris and Phil made us feel totally at home and welcomed. Phil is a fab cook, breakfast was amazing, with a really comprehensive Menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their beautiful home. I would recommend to other's who may wish to have a stay in Bridport, Phil and Chris's is the place to head for. I lost myself in the outside Oasis. A truly beautiful eco system for the wonderful wild life and nature. Absolutely loved it! Thank you so very much to both for a wonderful stay, and all your hospitality. Lynn &Tracey X

We had a lovely couple of days at Joss’ home in Studland. We felt so welcome and had a very cosy, comfortable stay. Just what we needed to get out of the city. Joss and her dad did a lovely breakfast for us in the morning and we really enjoyed their company. The location was perfect with beautiful walks at the doorstep. We would love to return one day and definitely recommend staying here.

I normally book near Weymouth Beach, the main hangout area, and didn't realize that this was not in that area. This was a nice place, off the beaten path, and was quiet at night and since I had a car, this wasn't a big deal, but good to know. I tried communicating with Diane through the Airbnb app, but she never replied to it, so we never worked out a method of communication. I think I happened to catch her when I did check-in, so make sure you show up on time because I am not sure what I would have done if I arrived late. The space is beautiful, the bed comfortable, and breakfast great. There is no air conditioning (which is normal), so I asked for a fan and one was provided. The room also had windows on two walls which allowed for cross-flow and that along with the fan helped cool down the space to be very comfortable. While it worked for me, the shower had a high step-up that my wife would have struggled with, and the sink had a shelf above it making it hard to brush

Really lovely stay at Clare's place. She was friendly, helpful and accommodating. My room was cozy and warm. The shower was a bit wonky though once I asked and learned how to improve the experience, it worked well. The only small inconvenience was not being able to do laundry due to the drying cupboard set up not working. I'd certainly stay with Clare again.

It was a pleasure to stay at Sarah’s BnB, she could not have been more accommodating and kind. Such a charming place!

The place was cozy. Tim and Susan were kind and helpful. The seafront was just across the road providing us with a nice beach at the doorstep that made the stay memorable.

Lovely spot and extremely conveniently located relative to the Tank Museum so if you’re visiting and aim to stay over you couldn’t do better. Gillian is also a very friendly and hospitable host who made us feel very welcome. Would happily stay again!

Mel and Trish were extremely welcoming, friendly and could not do enough for us. The service was exceptional and tailored to us. Comfy beds - small room with no TV but we enjoyed use of adjoining space - our own living/ dining room to use. Lovely continental breakfast

We had a fabulous short stay with our two sausage dogs. Ideal base for a quick visit to see local family. Lovey little touches with the milk, bread etc. Would highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ian and Wilma were wonderful hosts and were very understanding of our late arrival. The Old School is full of character set in beautiful countryside. The breakfast was superb and reflected both British and Danish cuisines. Ian shared the local history of the area, which was very interesting and made our onward journey more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I was totally blown away by this little slice of heaven! The most wonderful, friendly, helpful hosts who have thought of everything you could possibly want. Every detail was thoughtful and luxurious, the breakfast was like that of a 5* hotel and i was truly blown away with the comfort and honely feel of the property. I will be back! :)

Tara's place was perfect for a quick stop on my way back from Cornwall to London. There is so much to see in every room and the breakfast Tara made was absolutely delicious!

We had a fantastic stay in Lulworth - the room is great location, with a huge range of beautiful walks, scenery and places to eat all within walking distance. John was very friendly and gave some brilliant local recommendations and the room was in spotless condition. I would highly recommend a stay at John's for anyone looking for a getaway in Lulworth.
