You sometimes imagine yourself in the countryside because even though you are in the middle of the center of Zaandam, the birds wake you up in the morning and because of the non-existent street it is wonderfully quiet. A few minutes away you are on the Dam of Zaandam and with the Zaanse Schans and Amsterdam around the corner, you can go all the way.

I had an amazing stay! Teddy and his wife were very friendly and accommodating, and greeted me with traditional Dutch snacks and some fruit when I arrived. They also recommended places to visit around the area and restaurants with good food. The boat was cozy and charming, as well as tidy and very clean. The location was great, as it’s not far from the train station so it’s easy to take the trip into Amsterdam. I really enjoyed my stay, and would love to stay here again next time I visit the Netherlands!

I had a wonderful stay! Elton was very friendly and welcoming, making the experience smooth from start to finish. The place itself was lovely—clean, cozy, and well-kept. It was also very quiet, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. The view was absolutely stunning and definitely a highlight. Highly recommend!

Was great! We cycled here from Windsor UK for a charity event, was exactly what we needed, peaceful & cosy. Nice & clean lovely little village. Our phones died before we got to our destination but the friendly neighbour helped us out straight away & gave me & my friend each a beer! Great guy

Such a beautiful home, we felt so comfortable. It has everything you need and the kids loved the animals and the trampoline. Gorgeous neighborhood, grocery store down the road. Hot water tap and the ice cubes were really nice to have as well. They really went out of their way to accommodate us and suit our special needs, we really appreciate it!!!

Roy's house is situated in a quiet local area, offering a peaceful environment. From the house, it's easy to reach Zaanse Schans or the A10 highway within 5 minutes. The A10 provides convenient access to Amsterdam Noord, which can be reached in 15-20 minutes. We parked our car at P+R Noord, from where we used a GVB day ticket (9 Euros) for our travels within Amsterdam. Parking at P+R Noord is just 6 Euros per day when you arrive after 10:00 am by validating with a GVB day ticket. Roy's house was exceptionally clean and well-equipped, especially with numerous toys that our children loved. Roy was friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to our questions. We were very happy with our stay at Roy's house and look forward to visiting again in the near future.

We stayed here for two nights. The tiny house is located at the far end of a very long garden. During the stay, we enjoyed the privacy very much. Sylvia and Mick regularly asked if everything was okay and even gave us homemade jam and eggs from their own chickens as a welcome gift. Communication, kindness and flexibility were great. 10/10.
