We really enjoyed our time at their cottage. It was the peaceful getaway that we needed and close to our relatives that we were visiting. It was beautifully decorated; I enjoyed the ambiance. The bed was comfortable. To walk the premises and follow the creek into the woods was fun. There is no Wi-Fi, but we were successful in using our phones as hot-spots, a new experience for us. We enjoyed talking with her husband when he was tending their venue next door. They are very nice people and responsive when we had questions or needed things. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back when in the neighborhood.

Arrived in driving rain and hail with tornado sirens sounding. This solid home, which has stood for decades, was literally a welcome shelter in the storm. Once the weather cleared, we were able to easily access the architectural treasures of Columbus, as well as the trails in Mill Race Park.

We had a great stay. The views of animals were great. The weather was spotty which left us not being able to use all amendities. Marie left local recommendations and snacks/water which was a wonderful touch. It was very easy to find the location, no issues with the driveway or parking. The TV in the bathroom with the tub was an awesome touch. The recliners were amazing!

Wonderful stay and charming accommodations! Dave knew that we would be in after midnight and he made sure to leave on several lights to make his place easy to find and that we had a safe walk up to the door. Clean and fairly priced!! We will be back!

Riverside Cabin w/ 3 Decks in North Vernon!

We loved staying in this amazingly well supplied cottage for our cousins' reunion. I've never been in an Airbnb so well supplied with everything you could possibly think of needing. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. And we loved sitting outside on the deck overlooking the creek, listening to the birds and the rippling water. With three bathrooms, one on each floor, us old folks never had far to go for our middle-of-the-night bathroom breaks. North Vernon is a friendly, charming small town and has an excellent restaurant called Nash's where the vegetarians in our crowd found several creative and delicious options. And they serve a wonderful local craft beer. As disclosed by the hosts, there is no cell service at the house and the internet is intermittent, so getting online was frustrating. (We suggested to the hosts that they upgrade their modem.) But otherwise, we couldn't have been happier during our stay.

Such great accommodations for our family of 5, as we were passing through to go to Michigan. We needed a one night stay and this far exceeded a hotel experience. Would highly recommend!

Cozy glamper/tiny home with scenic pond

If you are looking for a peaceful place in the country this will fit the desire. The tiny home doesn’t feel tiny when you take in all it has to offer. It has everything, even a dishwasher that most homes have. It is a different adventure and a beautiful lake and areas to cook out and relax. I recommend this as a fun place to stay!
