Monthly Rentals in Westmorland and Furness

Had a great couple of days here. Great central location with lots of pubs and places to eat. Easy to drive into The Dales for walks and Heather was a great host. Sweetcorn is a clean and cosy flat on the main road, pub directly next door and one across the road, both dog friendly 🙂. Car park is really close as well which was handy.

We had a lovely stay; the location is wonderful, surrounded by farmland with baby lambs overlooking the seating area! The apartment is very well specced and looked after, with a small garden house further up the hill opposite and an amazing river a short walk across the fields where we went for a swim. The photos do not do the property justice, it is a gem. Would definitely come back to use as a quiet base to explore the lakes from again.

Susan was a lovely host ! The log fire was set up and ready to be lit, clear instructions upon check in and just a genuine friendly person I enjoyed talking too ! The accommodation had everything I needed for a peaceful night after trekking the Lake District mountains ! Bed heater too provided which is a bonus ! Thanks Susan I will be back in future for sure !

We had a lovely week in Rose Cottage. It was east to locate and upon arrival the wood burner was fully stacked and we we're left some wonderful shortbread treats. It was very clean and there was coffee, tea and fresh milk available for us upon our arrival. There was loads of things to do within a reasonable distance, lowther castle, windermere, aira force but the real stand out was the tree top nets at zipworld windermere. We also enjoyed a little visit to the local donkey farm and a visit to penrith baths. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would easily recommend it.
