Two playgrounds are not far away and there is plenty to discover, e.g. Hachenburg (4 km) with the historic market square, the Marienstatt Abbey with monastery garden & brewery, the Westerwald lake district, Bad Marienberg with climbing and zoo.

For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb (20 sqm with private bathroom), but it is also great to just snuggle in for a weekend. You need a car here! In the stable – side by side with chickens and horses

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.
