Places like Diever, Giethoorn, Dwingeloo, Staphorst and Meppel are worth a visit as well. Of course, you will be spoiled every morning with a delicious breakfast. For discounts only the first morning breakfast. The B&B is in a very quiet location and yet in the middle of the village.

The Scheve Door

Midden in het hart van dit mooie oude stadje ligt "de scheve deur". Alle voorzieningen en vertier binnen handbereik. Je logeert in een monumentaal pand , een oude stadsboerderij uit het jaar 1678, waar we zoveel mogelijk de oude stijl hebben teruggebracht. En de oude bedstee intact gehouden. Vollenhove is een prachtig oud stadje en de woning ligt aan verschillende wandel en fietsroutes en vlakbij het mooie nationale park weerribben-wieden.

Our house is a former business building and had quite a bit of space left. Where the shopping/office rooms with customer toilet used to be, we built a bedroom, living room with kitchenette and toilet/shower in the fall of 2019. The store entrance is now a private entrance for our guesthouse. Ordering breakfast is possible, but this is not included in the base price as standard.

What's "On his Swedish"? A fully furnished cozy house (former living area of the farm) with its own entrance, full of comforts and also wheelchair accessible. Plenty of opportunities to stay privately outside the house. Welcome! Bed &Breakfast 'Mekelermeer' is a nice stay for 2 persons included breakfast. ckeck in is after 14.00 h. check out is round 12.00 h. 2 nights is the minimum stay. The interior is very cosy. You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .
