Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. Great place in a quiet area. Good equipment for making your own snacks and you can get to the airport from the property really easily. Teemu gave good instructions on how to get to the place, etc. I give 5/5 points.

We booked this place for our family: 2 adults in our 40s, 2 grandparents in their 70s, and 1 child. The two cabins comfortably fit us all. We really enjoyed staying here and having a taste of Finnish "mokki" life. The sauna worked well, and the lake was perfect for swimming. We also enjoyed the row boat and outdoor fire pit for making "makkara". Given climate change realities, the inclusion of an air conditioning unit in the main cabin was a big plus! I would stay here again, and recommend it to others.

Very nice cottage, a group of 7 people fit well. Everything worked without any problems: easy check-in, good kitchen utensils, nice sauna with two showers - and we even got to stay in the cottage a few hours longer on the day of departure, thanks for that! There was plenty of firewood in the shed when we kept a fire in the back of the terrace. The gas grill on the terrace worked well. We liked the environment of the cottage very much: the beautiful pine terrain inspired us to go for walks and we even went to the nearby pond to bathe our winter tires (a wonderful sandy beach)! Two kilometers away, you will find Uhrilähde and Kylmänmyllynlähde, beautiful natural sites, where we took a short walk. Thanks to Tiina for a great cottage weekend - we will be happy to come here again!

It's a lovely and well equipped house in a very calm area. I attended an event in the region and needed a place to relax and feel at home and this place was perfect.

Everything went perfectly. The place was idyllic, beautiful and peaceful. 7-year-old traveler fell in love with the balcony! I saw Anunkki briefly, she is a very kind and nice woman. Thanks for a great place to stay!

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

Juha was a fantastic host — warm, communicative, and thoughtful. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with a beautiful terrace and even a new TV. We especially appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and we felt very welcome.

A suitable and delightfully cozy cottage in a quiet location close to nature. The cottage was the right size for one adult and two teenage girls, everyone had their own place to stay in a cozy cottage. We went for a walk nearby and skied a stone's throw away. We'll probably come back.

A breathtakingly beautiful place. An oasis of relaxation. The house is exceptionally beautifully located, very spacious and very comfortably furnished, both indoors and outdoors. We were five adults and were thrilled by the sparkling clean house, especially the bathroom with sauna and the hot pot. We would have liked to have stayed longer...

We had a wonderful stay at Katariina’s cabin with the private sauna. The peaceful, private setting in nature made it a perfect escape. The cabin was cozy and well-equipped, and the sauna was an amazing way to unwind. Katariina’s warm welcome and hospitality made the experience even more special—she was a truly great host. Nuuksio National Park is just minutes away and offers beautiful trails and scenery. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to relax and disconnect. The accommodation was wonderful! Cozy, comfortable and rustic. The sauna provided good steam and the bedroom was great for sleeping. The surroundings were peaceful and welcoming. Viivi responded to messages quickly and the reception was warm and pleasant. Definitely a place and host worth recommending ☺️

A cozy, tidy cottage in a quiet location, as described.

Nice cabin in the owner's yard. The lovely wood sauna was just right for two and good steam! Everything you need was found in the cottage. The owners were friendly and the dog was cute! It's hard to swim when there's so much plant in the water. That was the only minus. However, the owner kindly tried to rake it off so we could take a dip after the sauna!

Very neat cottage with all the amenities. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen and plenty of sleeping space. Highly recommended!
