We had an incredible few nights at Michaels stone cabin, beautifully furnished, super cosy, amazing views, cold plunge pool, hot outdoor bathtubs - everything was perfect! Can highly recommend.

A wonderful space and lovely hosts. We had a really, really enjoyable visit. The location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything, we walked up and down the Main Street many times! The space is lovely, we were able to open up the doors to the winter sun. Will return!!

One of the most stunning airbnb’s I have stayed in!!! The photos are gorgeous, but in person is even better. The sunsets here are unmatched, the outdoor space is larger than what we imagined, and the inside is cozy with lots of amenities! The tap water is safe to drink and the security to the place was great. The driveway is quite steep but we got our rental car up it no problem! Anthony was fantastic and always answered so fast! He was very kind, friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much!

Thank you for such a lovely spot, a little slice of serene quietness. House had everything we needed, well equipped and a well thought out layout, James was a welcoming host. We spent our time hiking, stargazing, bonding as a family and getting to know Mango the Mongoose. We loved every minute and will definitely be back!

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Rooi Els. Heide hat uns herzlichst empfangen und uns verschiedene Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten empfohlen. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft und die Ausstattung hervorragend. Wir haben uns direkt zuhause gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war super einfach, schnell und freundlich. We had the most incredible stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Rozanne made us feel completely at home — she’s a truly exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. The home itself is stunning, with stylish and beautifully curated interior décor that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The indoor fireplace was a cozy highlight, and we spent unforgettable dinners at the indoor Braai (bbq) enjoying great food. And the view — absolutely to die for. Waking up to the sight of Springboks and Zebras roaming in the distance felt like something out of a dream. Despite its elegant design, the house was surprisingly child-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for our whole family. Every detail was considered. We’re already thinking of our return — next time, to catch the whales! Thank you again, Rozanne, for everything.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The view was simply breathtaking waking up each morning to such a serene and beautiful landscape was a highlight of our trip. The area is incredibly peaceful and quiet, which made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Inside, the home is just as impressive. The interior was beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches and tasteful decor that made the space feel warm, comfortable, and inviting. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and it was clear that a lot of care went into creating such a lovely atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful spot! The view is exquisite, it is very quiet and private. So peaceful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Unit is comfortable and we utilised the much needed indoor fireplace. The kitchen has pretty much all you need to make meals. The one bathroom only has a bath, so bear that in mind if you are sharing with others. A magic spot in an awesome location! Susanna was very responsive to requests. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Susanna!!

Beeindruckende Gegend und wunderschönes Haus. Wenn man etwas vergessen hat, kann man die wichtigen Dinge vor Ort im Shop kaufen (z.B. Streichhölzer, Holz, Kaffee). Es fehlte nur ein Schürhaken für den Ofen. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft super ausgestattet. Wir haben einen Game Drive dazu gebucht. Das war ein tolles Erlebnis.

This place is a dream! Your own private beach with all the modern furnishings you might need. Luxury kitchen equipment, beautiful decks and balcony, plenty of outdoor furniture and activities. We went to Paternoster for meals, but you will need to book in advance as restaurants fill quickly. An amazing getaway, we would go back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful soul-renewal stay. Well designed home with perfect views from every angle. We enjoyed morning sunrise from the stoep and loved watching the surroundings evolve as the sun moves… most amazing colours. Switch off the lights and enjoy the stars from the hot-tub. Well equipped home and many extra surprises (thank you for the welcoming gift). Thank you Willem for the efficient and friendly communication. We’d love to be back!

Wir hatten eine tolle Unterkunft in Südafrika als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Unternehmungen. Simon war ein toller Gastgeber, immer freundlich und gut zu erreichen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und mit Blick auf das Wasser, was will man mehr. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf sind gleich um die Ecke. Daher können wir diese Wohnung nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank :)

BEAUTIFUL AND LUXURIOUS! Our family was very impressed with this home. Very modern, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. We can’t wait to return. Love all the en-suite bathrooms, beds are comfortable, great space to accommodate larger travel groups. The ocean view from the upper deck was stunning. We almost didn’t want to explore around because we enjoyed the home so much! Walkable to many places, safe, secure, and Odette and Bella were very kind!

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. Our weekend getaway was meant to be an off the grid break from the world. This listing gave us exactly what we needed. It was private and offered beautiful walking routes. The kitchen was fully equipped, exactly what we needed to be able to prepare our meals. The lounge fireplace is the perfect distance from the couch which allowed for cozy evening reading time. The patio overlooks the ocean, perfect for afternoon lunch and wine. Communication regarding check-in was clear. Overall, I would be keen to stay here again.

Beautiful spot! Perfect for our family weekend for Mother's Day. Wonderful that the dogs could join too! Stunning, spacious bedrooms and beautifully decorated - very cosy and peaceful.

What a wonderful property. It immediately felt like home. Both my wife and I were also remote working so the little office space was perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking there. The outside space was just beautiful and all conveniences were a short drive away. We didn't want to leave! It was also spotlessly clean. Sharon was amazing in answering all our questions promptly. We highly recommend this gorgeous hidden gem in Hout Bay.

What an insanely beautiful piece of the world. The house and surroundings are even more beautiful than the photos. It was super cosy with the indoor fireplace and the wood fired hot tub. Sunset over the dam is stunning and peaceful. The house is extremely well curated and the beds are the comfiest I’ve slept in for years! Tabby is an amazing host and even provided fresh produce from her garden, which was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back soon!

We had an amazing stay at Penny's beautiful cottage in Churchhaven! The house was perfectly simple, yet met all our needs, and was spotlessly clean. The location was stunning, and Churchhaven is truly one of the most special places we've visited. The kids absolutely loved the swing on the verandah, and Penny's thoughtful tips and recommendations were super helpful - especially the advice on which beaches to visit depending on the weather. Communication with Penny was seamless, and she made sure we had everything we needed. We'd absolutely love to come back and stay again. Highly recommend!
