Vacation rentals with an EV charger in Westerkwartier

Very welcome feeling when you arrive and very cozy cottages. Well furnished for a large group, in particular the kitchen with lots of crockery. Had a very nice weekend.

Johan and Karine were very welcoming and helpful. They make their place home "away from home" for their guests. Very responsive hosts and they are always willing to help. I enjoyed my stay, especially when visited Johan's farm where I took some amazing photographs. Would definitely recommend this place!

We have enjoyed the area. Beautiful hiking area! Top room/apartment, delicious breakfast and nice, cozy hostess. We will definitely come back!

I loved it! The house was sparkling clean and the hosts incredibly friendly. I have never been welcomed so warmly at an Airbnb. If you have any questions or requests, they were right there. The area is fantastically beautiful – quiet, but in 10–20 minutes you are in the middle of the action. Also ideal for excursions with children. Clear recommendation!

Had a wonderful stay here! The beds are fantastic and the staff of Waddengenot is very kind. Nice to go to the seal center Pieterburen and walk to the mudflats. We were just sorry that no crockery and cutlery were present. We had counted on this as it is advertised as an apartment.

The house was exactly as in the description and easy to find. The communication was fast and easy :) Everything is really nearby and the recommendations were great. Also everything was prepared for our small child which really helped us to have a comfortable stay and we could enjoy ourselves. Thanks again for the lovely gift we received for her birthday. ❤️ I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay despite the weather being a bit against us. The accommodation is complete and equipped with every comfort. Good bed, full kitchen, lovely shower. Location in nature. Beautiful for hiking and cycling. Contact with host was very pleasant. Worth repeating. Petri and René

We had a lovely few nights here. Everything was as shown in the pictures. There are many beautiful walking paths with big trees in the area. We did not know how to turn on the heat, so we started out feeling a little cold, but Daniëlle was quick to respond to my question about it, so we could turn up the heat.

Angela is a very sweet person, very helpful and easily accessible. The place is quietly located. The cottage is very cute and colorfully decorated. So there's a lot to discover. ☺️ In the bedroom, it is a bit bright and the floorboards creaked a lot😂, so absolutely authentic! Living like a local

If you want a weekend away in the Netherlands (in our case) and also with 2 adults and 4 children, you pay the main price everywhere for a place to stay. For this house, it was just fun and completely for the luxury we got in return, but also that there was also something left to do some things with the children next to the stay alone. And the contact was very nice, understanding and with quick responses. Was a weekend what felt like a week.

The house is amazing, equipped, kitchen, rooms, all the facilities are high-end. Very suitable for family. The area is quiet and green, birds chirping, a real treat for nature lovers. The hosts are available for any question, help, and recommendation at an exceptional level.

Overall a lovely stay in a very well located place. Kitchen was clean and had a large dishwasher which was helpful with children in tow. Full bath was lovely. Caretaker was friendly and a pleasure to work with. A really cool guy who furnished the place with personal, artistic touches. Groningen was so easy to explore on a rental bakfiets. Grocery, restaurants, parks and cultural places minutes from the apartment. Wish we had access to the washer/dryer given we were traveling with children. Bath was not operational due to a leak needing investigation through no fault of the caretakers doing, but would have made bathing children easier. Overall would highly recommend. Edwin was so friendly and oriented us during our check in. Groningen beats the bustle of the Randstad any day!

Just a wonderful week behind us in this cottage. Wonderful surroundings by the water. Quite private in terms of neighbors, but quite a few boats that pass by. The teenagers enjoyed themselves with the canoe, the weather was really a gift this week. Super nice that there are screens for everything, slept wonderfully with windows open. Everything has been thought of, in terms of kitchen furnishings but also in terms of amenities such as washing machine, extra blankets, etc. Tip: if you are here, take the pound to the other side (bring cash) to explore the village but especially to sit by the water on the terrace. The only thing we regretted is that we actually wanted to rent a boat but were late with that. Furthermore, it is a wonderful environment where you can discover nature (all the feans) but also Burgum and Dokkum are recommended. In short: super successful vacation and nice cottage!
