A beautiful converted barn in a friendly village with a pub serving great food. The bed and pull out sofa were very comfy and the bathroom was luxurious. Nicely equipped kitchen so we could cook some porridge to keep us going on our hike. Highly recommended for weary hikers.

Alexandra’s place was stunning, comfortable and just what we needed, on top Alexandra and the whole village it seems were warm, welcoming and friendly. Alexandra made arrangements for us to have breakfast at the pub, we decided to leave wearlier so changed plans, the pub was fine and Alexandra brought bread and eggs down for us. * * * * *

We stayed at the Saw Mill Cottage last year and once again the experience did not disappoint! The place was perfect and we had an excellent time in a peaceful quiet location. It was a lovely homely stay with beautiful surroundings. The sheep and cows were out and the weather was lovely. The place was very clean with everything we could have needed. Not a long drive from the national park to see wild horses.
