Barn vacation rentals in West Flanders

We had a great weekend at Ruth and Martin's place. The two are great people, loving, hospitable, open and interested (but not intrusive). We were very well informed in advance about our stay so we knew what to expect before arrival (e.g. surroundings, shopping, wifi access, etc.). The little cottage was stocked with everything we needed. It is very well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. We felt at home and did not miss anything. We appreciated the proximity to Ghent, but actually only spent our time on the farm and was in the sun. The huge and winding garden invites you to dream, you enjoy the quiet and the beauty of nature. Thank you Ruth and Martin for this lovely PLACE!

A perfect stay! The space was spotless and very comfortable. The mattresses were amazing! Our host was very welcoming, friendly and always available. Whenever we needed anything, she helped us quickly. The natural setting is beautiful, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. A property we'd recommend without so much as a second thought.

Spacious rooms. Bathrooms had shower and also one bath. This was practical for the grandchildren. Comfortable kitchen with all necessary kitchen appliances. Plates, glasses and cutlery certainly enough! Outside, the children had plenty of space to walk, cycle,… Cool toys and sandbox. The animals also received a lot of attention from the grandchildren!

We had a bachelorette at Mieke's (25 people all weekend). It's ideal for this kind of event! The space even seemed bigger in reality than in the photos. We didn't miss a thing. Be careful though, we were warned that we had to pay attention to the noise because the (distant) neighbors sometimes call the police. In February, we had the party all night indoors and had no worries but be careful if you want to party outdoors especially in summer.

With our group of 10 friends, we had a lovely weekend. The spaces feel luxurious and inviting. The property has several places to sit, eat and relax. The outdoor area was also incredibly beautiful! a generous light space with all the amenities together. from bbq to seating area (indoor and outdoor) and from fireplace to a large dining table. And here too, everything was neatly taken care of and nicely decorated. The pool made our stay even more enjoyable. Heats up so it wasn't shivering😉. In addition, Valentijn and Evelyn were very friendly and helpful. Nice and enthusiastic people who communicate smoothly and friendly. I give them a 10. In short, I would recommend this beautiful place to everyone.

The apartment is spacious, and very functional. The gym, and sauna , located on the ground floor in a large room are really great. Not to mention the heated pool outside. Everything is very well located geographically, 15 minutes from Ostend, 30 minutes from Bruges, and 45 minutes from Ghent.

Our group of 11 had an amazing stay at this charming holiday home in Beernem. The house is beautifully renovated, offering spacious en-suite rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The shared indoor pool and sauna were perfect for relaxing, and the garden with a barbecue added a special touch to our evenings. The location is fantastic for exploring Bruges and Ghent, all within easy reach. A huge thanks to the wonderful host, who was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Linsey responds quickly, nice communication. We were able to get into the apartment ourselves, the key was already ready. Later, she came by in person. The wine, as well as the location, is also recommended!

Beautiful large spaces, ideal for a big family or family. Lots to do in and around the house. Evelyn is really friendly and helpful. Beautiful location, lovely pool and sauna.

We had a great stay! The suite is perfect and location was excellent for the Flanders WW1 history we were exploring. Highly recommend!
