A small coastal cottage roughly 5 min drive outside the harbour town of Saldanha. The cottage is private but connects to the side of our home. It is literally on the ocean with spectacular views of the bay and harbour boasting 3km of sandy beach, stretching in either direction. The bedrooms are north facing, catching mid day sun. The cottage falls with in a small private home owners estate, is secure and quaint and is perfect for those wanting to spend their days lazing on the beach.

Myself and my two miniature schnauzers had a wonderful stay. The apartment had everything we needed and the hosts were happy to assist with any help or if anything was lacking. Marlon, his wife and Juan were very friendly and exceptionally accommodating, and the beach is a stones throw away and lovely to swim, run and walk the dogs on. The surrounding area felt safe, the locals are friendly and the space was perfect for the peaceful retreat that I needed!

A calm lagoon is depicted with gentle waves lapping against the rocky shoreline. Small boats are anchored in the water, while a few houses are visible along the coast. The sky is partly cloudy, creating a serene coastal atmosphere.

What a beautiful spot right on the lagoon! Vaneta was an amazing host, I highly recommend this spot to anyone.

Cecilie’s place is a little gem, private and secluded, decorated with a lot of love for detail, yet minimalist as we like it. Cecilie is incredibly guest friendly, accommodating with flexible checking times and her treats such as self-made musli and yoghurt are divine! We can only recommend the stay and would love to be back some time soon.

Nico's place was amazing. We have stayed a couple of times now and will always stay there when in Langebaan. It has everything you need, very quiet and clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This apartment is a ideal getaway destination for a couple looking to break away from the day to day noise and just relax. Although the kitchen was small, it met every need we had👌🏻Owners were very informative and helpful. Great visit to the beautiful St Helena Bay!

Birdcage Accommodation

The worst part of the whole experience is that I had to leave! Would've moved in if I could. Marina's space is a wonderful little home away from home. You could tell she has put a lot of thought and care into the space, not just in making it comfortable and usable for a visitor but also in its beautiful aesthetics. As a solo female traveler in town for a wedding, I found the location perfect and walkable to everything I needed. I appreciate the attention and the late check out, which was much needed after a phenomenal wedding the evening before. 100% recommended!

Had a lovely stay here with my 3 other friends. Chanal went out of her way to make our experience pleasant . She had great recommendations of things to do and even helped us order pizza late at night with the restaurant. The house is beautiful and clean, bedrooms are quite spacious . There’s a number of board games aswell that one could enjoy with friends. The place is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with easy access to many amenities and activities around. We will definitely make our way back.

This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Such a hidden gem, so much attention to detail. All l can say is l definitely felt that there was a pinch of love in organising the space. Marlene is such a fantastic host, the place is fully equiped, and so peaceful. lrene her helper also loves her job, it was spotless. We will definitely be coming back. We loved our stay in Yzerfontein, and the sea view from the stay is definitely the highlight. The accommodation was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The only negative is that the apartment is rather close to another stay (or the main home); however, we had no one staying next door to us and therefore had utmost privacy and loved our stay.
