Check-in felt like walking into a friend’s home.. you follow the simple instructions and you’re instantly settled, no fussing with hidden keys or cryptic lockbox codes. The house itself is a gem. Perched right on the beach, it’s that rare mix of stylish comfort and laid-back charm. Wide windows frame an ever-changing ocean view, and the soothing sound of waves rolls in all day long. From early-morning coffee on the deck to sunset strolls along the shore, every moment felt idyllic. We left refreshed, grateful, and already plotting a return visit. This is our second time at Highrock House. Absolutely love the peacefulness and beautiful surroundings. Every amenity is available at the home - no need to leave unless you want to! This is our favorite place to stay in Idyllwild! We will definitely be back.

The house is roomy and spacious. Lots of different places to gather and hang out. It's pretty remote, I would suggest bringing food on arrival as the closest store is 20 minute drive. You can't beat the views as it might be the most special part of the house. Perfect place to relax and recharge.

We had an amazing time. Erin’s home was beautiful and had everything we needed. It felt like home. It was a much needed getaway at such a peaceful retreat. We will definitely come back.

We stayed at the Airbnb for four nights, and it was wonderful. We encountered three issues during our stay, and our host, Maggie, was very responsive either resolving the problems or offering alternative solutions. The Airbnb was clean and matched the photos provided. I appreciated all the thoughtful details and the high end pieces that the host carefully selected for the home. Before booking, as well as during our stay, Maggie was quick to respond to all of my questions. If we visit Joshua Tree again, we would definitely rebook.

It was exactly what our family needed after a busy wedding weekend. It was peaceful with the nice breeze while sitting on the patio. Many fish were caught and released! Inside of the house was homey and elegant. We are locals, but will be booking this property again!!!

The listing was just as described. The view was beautiful. The home had everything we needed. We had to travel slowly up the last part of the road to the house but it wasn't too difficult. Be sure to follow the host's directions and not just a gps.

Not only was the house very nice, all the accommodations were very comfortable. The host communicated well and was quite accommodating - and many labels in the unit were helpful like, "hot water up and back." The air conditioning was strong which was a concern from previous trips to the area.

Beautiful, very clean place with good view of mountains. Emily was very concerned about my allergies and went out of her way to launder linens beforehand in an appropriate way; would be good for those with allergies/asthma!! Comfortable bed and reclining couch. Loved it.

Hands-down the Best Airbnb Experience Ever! This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, Rich went above and beyond to make our stay special. He welcomed us warmly and even gave us a tour of his beautiful property. The cabin itself was absolutely immaculate — spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was so cozy, comfortable, and felt just like home (only better!). The highlight of the cabin was the stunning picture window with breathtaking views of the river and canyon — it was like waking up in a postcard. After a day of hiking in the canyon, we got to unwind with a peaceful evening, soaking in the view and later visiting the nearby hot springs. It was the perfect relaxing getaway. There was a short power outage in the area during our stay, but Rich was incredibly responsive. He showed up quickly with backup lanterns, checked in on us to make sure we were safe, and let us know we c

The location was breathtaking. We had no issues during our stay so did not require additional communication with the host. We would love to return!

Tamaras listing was exactly like her pictures for a first timer In san diego the location was so beautiful and peaceful right off the beach exactly what I needed for a mini vacation I loved that it had its own little cozy balcony, and rooftop grill/ fire pit overlooking the view of imperial Beach there was so much to do in walking distance you couldn't beat the price for this place would definitely recommend and the host was very helpful and accommodating to any questions we had no matter the time if day thank you for making my stay worth it !

Beverly was great to communicate with! She let us check in 2 hours early which was so helpful for our baby girl so she could nap! The location was beautiful! They were so accommodating! We will definitely be staying here again!

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

Such a beautiful place! if you like peaceful, quiet, cozy, but also close to a small town with cute shops.... Amazing place! we saw sooo many turkeys.

We had such a great experience staying at Wildwood Cabin 2. We had the pleasure of meeting our host, Reg. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and a lovely view from the top. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, and the wood-fired sauna was amazing, such a perfect way to relax and enjoy the setting. Inside the cabin, it was cozy and comfortable. I completely fell in love with the bed linens, they were so soft and luxurious. There’s no TV, but there are plenty of board games, which made it really easy to disconnect and enjoy some quiet time. As a sweet bonus, we got to enjoy fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. We didn’t have time to join the yoga class since our stay was short, but that might just be the perfect reason to go back. Thank you Reg for sharing this beautiful space with others!

There are not enough superlatives to describe this place other than to say this is by FAR the nicest AirB&B we have ever stayed in. Everything is so well thought out and executed. It's perfect in every way and the view is spell binding. We will definitely be back.

The shower is not a solar shower, it is a 5 gallon camp shower bag with a drizzle. And the wind is piercing cold! 🥶 Amazing view’s all over! Private get away!! Plenty to do and see within minutes. The place is very cozy and no electricity makes it great for people who are truly looking to disconnect.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming little cabin on the water! It was the perfect peaceful getaway—cozy, clean, and beautifully tucked away with incredible views right outside the door. Waking up to the sound of the water and sipping coffee on the back deck was such a treat. The cabin had everything we needed and felt like a true escape from the hustle. You can tell the hosts put care into the details. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommended!

This place was an absolute dream! Between the hot springs, sauna, the stunning views, and that peaceful little spot by the river, it completely regulated our nervous systems—what a treat! The beds and pillows were also chef’s kiss—so comfy! Can’t wait to come back.

Jessica's treehouse was the perfect getaway for fresh air, peace and quiet (except for the melodic sound of frog croaks from the lake), with all the amenities you could ask for. From the lake decor, robes and towels, to Keurig coffee selection and complimentary wine, it had so many delightful touches that it was comfort personified. Would love to visit and stay for longer!
