Spotlessly clean, very comfortable & spacious accommodation. Friendly host. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Mine was just a flying visit so cannot comment on all the amenities but would happily return and recommend to others.

Riverside Shepherd's Hut

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A brilliant night away with our two dogs at a lovely spot. A short walk to the local pub only two doors up with nice drink selection and food. The hut was clean and well presented. Our two dogs are small and space was slightly limited, but it is to be expected from where you know you are going to be staying. We would return. A brilliant location and a brilliant responsive host. We stayed on the night it was 26 degrees and it was very hot in the hut. I think it would be good if a fan was included to plug in. I also think it would be good if there were more comfortable seats on the open space, maybe an outdoor sofa set or something similar. Other than that cannot say a bad thing about this place. Brilliant stay and would recommend to friends and family.

Vineyard Shepherds Hut

WilliamRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Really lovely shepherds hut in it's own private fenced in garden/vineyard. Our little dogs had a really good look but no matter how hard they tried they couldn't find a way out. Very little road noise and all the facilities were really good and easy to use. We were all so relaxed and had the chilled out, switched off weekend we really needed. Beyond the accommodation the site is beautifully maintained and is obviously a work of love as well as a really smart business model. Perfect part two to our honeymoon.

Our stay was amazing, the building was stunning, so unusual and quirky really a once in a lifetime experience. In addition Jaimie was the best host, great communication and provided some lovely essentials when we checked in. 'Dog Friendly' Retreat

Ana ClaraRating, 5 stars4 days ago
An incredible experience! I needed a break from the hectic London and I was lucky to discover Minting. I spent 2.5 months at the Retreat with my cat and it was truly a wonderful stay! The house is lovely, very comfortable. The internet connection is excellent and all the appliances function perfectly. The tranquility of the house was amazing. For the first time in years, I was able to sleep without earplugs. The village is so beautiful, and the local community is very friendly. I felt genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. The street is quiet, making it ideal for my cat, who enjoys his outdoor walks. I didn’t have a car, and it was no obstacle. It gave me the opportunity to enjoy my daily walks and see the farm animals around the village. There is a bus stop just a 25-minute walk away, with hourly buses available, which was very convenient. Wendy and Steve are exceptional hosts! Always responsive and incredibly friendly. I highly recommend the Retreat and I will definitely return.
