This lovely bright 4 bedroom apartment with 3 bedrooms and very large roof terrace facing south gives that "real" vacation feeling. It is located at the amusement park De Meerpeael in the marina of Uitgeest with possibilities for sailing, surfing, fishing and swimming. The A9 motorway is easily accessible, so you can quickly reach Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem or Schiphol Airport. The beach of Castricum can also be reached within 15 minutes.

SYL offers everything you are looking for in a holiday home. The apartment can accommodate four people (plus baby) and is equipped with every comfort. Welcome to the holiday apartment top two floors of the house. Own entrance from side of the house. There is a ground floor apartment (mine) and a two floor apartment above (for rent). House is on the water, with many trees, and windows. Big kitchen. Not good if you do not like open staircases. The main bedroom has an attic with extra bed . Close to a supermarket, and the bus to Schiphol (Amsterdam). You may see our dogs outside, and sometimes hear them, when they talk to eachtother.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
