A peaceful two bedroom cottage on the edge of the Trough of Bowland and Lune Valley with links to the Yorkshire Dales ( Hawes - 30mins) and Lake District (Windermere - 45 mins), and the popular town of Kirkby Lonsdale only a 20 minute drive away! Excellent walks and cycle routes in the area, a wealth of wildlife around, curious sheep that come to the fence and views looking over to Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells. There are lots of fantastic eateries nearby. 20 mins from M6 Junction 34.

Apple tree cottage has recently been refurbished with modern interiors and super fast broadband. A self catering cottage with its own small garden and driveway, set in bucolic countryside. Able to accommodate 3 guests (3rd guest with an additional charge) with a unique 'reading nook' which can be made into a small single bed for a young child. Babies up to 2 years old are welcome (free of charge) with a travel cot and high chair supplied. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be made available.

Guest flat in Hornby Castle, which is located in the picturesque Lune Valley, in the forest of Bowland and not far from the Lake District, sitting on a hill with dramatic views overlooking the Lune valley and Ingleborough. Relax, enjoy the local walks, including along the river in our garden. Hornby has a good village tea room & pub. Also a good village shop. Our TV is small and only runs off online apps. Remember it is an old house and can therefore be or feel cold.

In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Ingleside Cottage is a 200 year old stone cottage, boasting a quirky layout and impressive split level garden area. It is ideally situated to explore the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, including the famous Ingleton Waterfall Trail and Ingleton Cave. Burton-in-Lonsdale is a compact village of 600 residents within a short walking distance from the community shop. Unfortunately the village pub is temporarily closed (01/03/24) as it is for sale.
