Our apartment is built in 2016 and we loved it to design the rooms, the equipment and the decoration. It´s based on the ground floor of our house and has an seperate entrance, an extra room for skies/hiking shoes, an extra entrance and a directly conecting to the terasse and the garden. Our quiet apartment (37m²), overlooking the Tennen Mountains, offers direct access to the ski area and our cross-country trails. In summer, you can reach the paraglider landing site and numerous walking and hiking trails in just 2 minutes walking time. The town center and a swimming lake are only 1.5 km away. Our apartment with garden is located at the foot of the Tennen Mountains and Hohenwerfen Castle. (Near the train) The 65 square meter garden apartment has a bedroom with a large double bed as well as a large living-dining room with a double bed on a platform. Surrounded by meadows and forests with magnificent views of the Salzachtal and the Hochkönig mountain range. The apartment is located above Bischofshofen at about 1200 m above sea level. You arrive via the small municipality of Werfenweng, the last kilometer to your accommodation is an easily accessible forest road about 1 km.

The place is stunning, with natural beauty, streams, good restaurants, good trails for bikes and hikes, the residents are very polite and receptive. The house is beautiful and perfect. The service is fast, to the point and very courteous. I'll be back here!

We stayed here for a little over 2 weeks and absolutely loved it!! We felt right at home, the space was lovely and cosy, and we especially loved the kitchen and bathroom (with a bath)! A highlight was definitely the beautiful view of the mountains from the kitchen and living area, I could sit and look out the window for hours at the rain and shifting clouds. Annija, the co-host, was super friendly and welcoming from the first moment. She was proactive, helpful, very responsive to messages and a great communicator. Truly an amazing host! The apartment is also in a great location, close to the train station, supermarkets and shops. St Johann im Pongau was a great base for hiking and exploring the surrounding mountains, with hikes starting very close by. So grateful for such a wonderful and memorable stay here — we would love to be back!

Erich has created a gem. We felt very comfortable. Technically up to the cutting edge. Everything in the cottage is very well thought out, we didn't miss anything. Our stay took place at the beginning of March and we assumed that we would rarely leave the cottage because you can really hole up there. You can enjoy the fireplace with a glass of wine. We took tons of books with us... Exceptionally, the weather was very, very nice and sunny. Unfortunately, at this time of year the sun does not reach the Pointhäusl and so we could not use the really wonderful outdoor area, which was a great pity. We'll be back for sure - but in the summer! Erich and his Pointhäusl deserve five stars plus!!!
