Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Wendtorf

We had a fulfilling time with our dogs in this nostalgic, super-equipped thatched cottage. Garden / property are safely fenced and the beds are also great. Despite the great facilities and the very well-preserved interior, we were a little surprised that the hygiene was not perfect. It is an old house, but you should have paid more attention to cobwebs (e.g. on the ceiling directly above the bed or in cupboards), the removal of silverfish in the bathroom (topic of moisture / ventilation) and the cleanliness of the floors. We had to wipe up something every now and then and afterwards the white kitchen roll was pretty dirty. Overall, however, this did not affect the nice stay, because otherwise hygiene & order were taken care of in places that were particularly important to us. We were very satisfied with the location, design, quality of the electronics and communication and are happy to be guests again!

We stayed here with our 2 small children and especially enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved the view from the terrace and living area of the lake. The children had toys in the children's room and we had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom & co. Despite the rain, there were great excursion destinations for families nearby and it is also only a few minutes' drive to the beach. Thanks for the lovely, relaxing stay and the cozy "short-term home"!

Wonderfully uncomplicated, superbly equipped, spacious rooms, large garden, and true superhosts.

A great apartment with perfectly equipped kitchen (not just the bare essentials), super nice seating areas inside and outside in an idyllic landscape. Perfect for cycling in the area. The only drawback of the accommodation: the beds squeak and are not very comfortable, in addition, bed linen must be brought or borrowed at a very high price. We had a very good time on site :)

I spent 1 week in Lennart's beach house with my daughter and we had a great time with nice weather. Lennart was very quick to respond to requests and was super friendly and helpful. The check in was well described and easy. The view from the upper living room is a dream and invites you to linger. Dishes and cooking utensils are sufficiently available. All in all, a successful stay and we would be happy to come back.

We were allowed to spend a few days in Jule's house and enjoyed it very much. The surrounding area is very nice, rural and quiet! The house offers a lot of comfort, has a large garden, which was perfect for our kids! We can definitely recommend this house! Thank you for a great break!

Unforgettable time in this beautiful house! Not a day went by when we were not fascinated by the house, garden and nature. Felt immediately comfortable and welcome. Information and excursion tips summarized in a book were super helpful. The garden is a dream for children (and adults!) - large with trampoline, swings, sandbox and fireplace. Personal greeting card and fresh flowers in the house pleased us. House fully equipped, on request with bed linen and towels. The area offers many activities: Karl-May-Festspiele, kayaking and bike tours, hiking and relaxing on lakes. We often used binoculars to observe animals. We highly recommend this place and would be happy to come back!"

We had perfect days with Anne and Matthias! The view is really much better than in the photos. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything (including dishwashing tabs, towels and spices) and the communication was super easy. We will be back!

The five of us spent two nights at Susanne's place and were completely satisfied. She welcomed us warmly, showed us everything important right at the beginning and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The property itself is superbly equipped, very clean and located in a quiet, relaxed environment. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back anytime.

We had a nice long weekend at Kirsten's. The sleeping situation was flexibly adapted to our wishes with toddler and the inclusive entrance to Filippo's adventure garden was also great. With the large amount of space, we can well imagine coming back together with another family!

I find it difficult to attribute this because I am afraid that the apartment will be fully booked for the next 5 years. We had a really great weekend in Flensburg and surroundings. The apartment was the best I've ever rented on AirBnb. Simply everything perfect, very high quality, insanely equipped (kitchen, etc.), huge and stylish interior. A great bouquet of flowers and reception Crémant were ready. Honestly, you don't have to go out the door, because the apartment invites you to linger and feel good with fantastic views of the harbor. But! By car in 40 minutes in Sonderburg (Denmark), in 45 minutes in Niebüll to get to Sylt by train and 10 minutes to the beach at the top with a view of Denmark make Flensburg the center of many day trips. In Flensburg, 5 minutes on foot to the harbor, 10 minutes directly to the city center. Great communication with Doris and the price completely reasonable! We will be back! Best regards, Christian

We had a really great time staying at the place! Everything was super relaxed – totally quiet, but still you are on the beach or in the village in a few minutes' walk. Perfect mix. We were there with two dogs and everything was just right: The garden is completely fenced, the two could move freely, and we didn't have to worry about anything. Otherwise, the apartment was well equipped – nothing was really missing. Everything is very clean, tidy and furnished with a lot of love. Lutz was super friendly, totally uncomplicated and flexible – you just feel welcome. The bikes were a great extra, and the fact that they even thought of the spa card and a guide was really practical. In short: We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Lovers of old houses and passionate collectors spend an authentic vacation here with plenty of space or space and also many free spaces. Many personal belongings make you feel like a guest. Own mobility would be a plus because the place is very quiet. The owners are unobtrusive and yet immediately available. Everything worked out very well for us and we had a nice time. But we felt very comfortable the first minute. We were there with 4 adults and 3 kids and there was more than enough space. We slept great, the amenities are cozy and fit wonderfully into the house, the view from the terrace was very nice. Neele welcomed us in a very friendly way, showed us everything and explained the sauna. The communication was great. We definitely recommend the house!

We had a wonderful wellness weekend with the girls in this fantastic house! We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful outdoor area, which together with the hot tub created a really relaxed atmosphere. The sauna was also a real highlight. The bedrooms are super nice and cozy, and the whole house is modern and lovingly designed – you immediately feel at home. The short way to the beach is perfect for walks. The only small drawback: Shopping is a little further away. But for that, the great house always compensates! Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

The house is a great place to spend a relaxing vacation with many friends or the extended family. The house is so big that you don't even notice that you're there with 12 people. And if everyone comes together for dinner, everyone still finds a place at the huge dining table. The furnishings are extremely stylish. I'll be returning home inspired.

"It's really a castle!" was the reaction of the travel companions. And that's for sure! Beautiful location, clean, lovely sturdy beds and very spacious (bath) rooms. Plenty of room to sit, play games or get a breath of fresh air outside. The kitchen has a wide range of tableware so that not every person can use a piece. What I personally liked is that every room has the option to open one or more windows. This keeps it nice and fresh on slightly warmer days. In the villages nearby, there is a supermarket and a number of restaurants. Enough supply to pick up your stuff on the spot. Check-in can be done digitally at your own time. Wonderful.
