Fun adventure cabin. Plenty of space. Host is extremely nice. Communication is easy. Recommend to anyone looking for a trip into the woods.

The house was the perfect lake home for what we needed and wanted while visiting local family —comfortable, welcoming, plenty of spaces to gather and relax, yet big enough for private accommodations and rest. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the lake, but sure enjoyed the view and peaceful location. It’s why we chose a house over a hotel—the conveniences and coziness of home—with special touches in every room. And especially appreciated the convenience of streaming services with no wifi challenges that we on occasion face with rentals. It truly felt like we stayed with friends.

Beautiful home! The views from the sunroom are 5 star. Looking out at the pool and lake every morning while eating breakfast was super nice. Home was very clean! Used all the amenities. We really made ourselves at home during stay. Quiet, private, and relaxing for the entire family. Stayed four nights and didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed downtown Carrollton. Highly recommend the Brazilian steakhouse. We had to travel to Atlanta a couple of times during our stay. About a 45 minute drive which was nice. Jason was an awesome! Host! Highly recommend! Home was better than expected.

The Lovely Lady Gang had an amazing time at your home—it was so peaceful. Some of the ladies had never been on a girls' trip before, and this was the perfect place to introduce them to something new and exciting. The rooms and kitchen were fantastic. We did have a small hiccup, but Stephanie handled it swiftly and professionally. Despite that, our fun never stopped! Mr. Bob was absolutely amazing and super kind! The stay was very hospitable and he made sure that we were comfortable. With the help of his grandson Ricardo, this was by far one of the most serene and quiet cute place of comfort. We rested so well. Everything was great... they even made us burgers and hotdogs. Mr. Bob, Ricardo, and the rest of their family were so sweet. We look forward to coming back and staying again. You won't regret booking with him!

This peaceful retreat is on a gorgeous setting directly on the lake with beautiful woods directly across the lake. The house is spacious and well equipped. The hosts and locals charming, friendly, and welcoming. My favorite part was the complementary use of SUP and kayaks! Thanks!

We had a great weekend at this beautiful Lake Wedowee home! The house was clean and well-stocked, and the host was very accommodating with our last-minute booking and late arrival. A representative met us and walked us through all the amenities. The basement had a fun bar area with ping pong and air hockey. The backyard had a gentle slope with a rock path down to the water, where we docked our boat for the weekend. The nearby boat launch was super convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the gas grill was a nice bonus. The hot tub was perfect after long days of fishing. The house is pet-friendly with a fenced area and deck gates to keep them safe while still enjoying the outdoors. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A hidden gem. I only know about it because I lived there 40 years ago. It is small but big enough to stay comfortably. The hostess was a gem too. Warm, friendly and made everyone feel at home. I highly recommend and hope to go back again.

What can I say about a place like this except just amazing! The scenery, the house, the porch and the vacation I needed. I went to the races in Talladega then hosted a small get together for the crew chief and a few of the pit crew guys and the place accommodated it perfectly. If your looking to relax and just be at peace this is a wonderful and amazing spot. I even went and bought a fishing pole and got a little fishing in. I Hope to do it again in the near future. My Husband and I host his for a yearly getaway and this was the perfect location. There was plenty of room, lots of activities and very private. We can’t wait to go back next year!!! Well worth the cost.

We really enjoyed our mini vacation and the place was really peaceful. Our daughters enjoyed the kayaks. There was plenty of room for everyone. Will definitely book again.

We came to town for 2 nights for a competition. My wife and 2 kids and my mother-in-law. It was the perfect size, vibe, location, etc for task in town but also for making memories… Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality as well.

We loved our week on the Wedowee River! The kids LOVED the small bedrooms, there was plenty of space for all of us (2 parents and 6 kids) and it was incredibly peaceful. Everyone loved the master bathroom with the shower/bathtub space. The porch and grill were our favorite places to hang out as we made dinner, played games and enjoyed each other's company.

Everything was as described. Place was clean and had plenty of room. Check in was easy, and well planned Unfortunately that area of the lake has little to no service, but that’s what getaways are for.

Great cabin!! Beautiful view of the lake. Very clean with everything we needed for a quick weekend trip. Great communication with the manager! Only negative was the long rough Dirt Road! Definitely will put my boat in the water first , instead of pulling to the cabin . Would definitely stay again!

Gloria’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway to do some hiking and off-roading in the area. Very clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, easy check in process. A note that there are a lot of stairs down to the dock if that’s an issue for anyone in your party but the view from the deck is beautiful as well! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable spot on the lake!

We recently stayed at a lovely Airbnb in Wedowee, Alabama, during the Talladega race weekend. This was our first visit to the area, and we were thrilled to find a place that offered both proximity to the race and a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The house exceeded our expectations. The pictures online do not do justice to the beautiful landscaping and serene lake views. It was truly magnificent, secluded, and provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed; we just had to bring our clothes. The kitchen had all necessary utensils and appliances for cooking meals, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the excellent communication from our host, Jeff. He provided clear instructions that made check-in seamless. We loved the seclusion and comfort of the house so much that we wished we could have stayed longer.

Gloria was super helpful and responsive! She’s really understanding. Would definitely recommend to book your stay! We booked for 3 months!!! Such an amazing experience.

Mr bob’s little cabin was absolutely perfect for a little get away. Perfect location with a great view of the lake. Even had a grill and the propane was complementary. We even ran out one night and they had a full tank to us in less than 5 minutes. Would absolutely stay again.
