Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wednesbury

A lovely long weekend spent with family in the large farmhouse. Beautiful sunsets and surrounding countryside and a well-equipped home. Open plan kitchen and dining area with room for all to cook and eat together. Space for everyone yet cosy and warm. A hot tub with views was a hit with everyone!

Probably the best little get away we have ever done. Never stayed somewhere so amazing and beautiful, the fairy lights and flowers as the sun set and the night sky began to appear was just incredible. We made pizzas in the fire oven, went on a lovely forest walk and Emma even went the extra mile and provided a birthday cake for my girlfriend’s birthday which was such a lovely touch. Don’t hesitate, just book this now if you are ready for a perfect reset from normal life. Thanks Emma x

Lovely little place with beautiful views, very peaceful (we hardly saw another human the whole time we were there). The little added touches were lovely. It was a little smaller than we thought it would be, but we hadn’t done a glamping pod before so I guess we didn’t know what to really expect. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the hot tub on the evenings, definitely an added bonus!! And the welcome and greeting was really lovely and helpful with recommendations of local restaurants :)

We had a wonderful stay at The Shippen. The property was perfectly located for a peaceful few days away from busy life but had amenities close by. We had access to the great pool and a private hot tub that the kids loved. I would definitely recommend The Shippen for families looking for a getaway that has lovely surroundings and accommodation that has everything you need, including games and activities for entertainment. Thank you Sara and Phil for having us, we loved our stay.

We had a lovely stay. The Annex provided a comfortable and pleasant environment. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. We would happily recommend this Annex to others. There are also extra towels for the hot tub and blankets for the garden. We can highly recommend Emma as a host. She was very helpful, offered us fresh milk for morning coffee, and recommended great places for food, etc. The information book was also very helpful.

Beautiful place for a relaxing girls weekend away. Plenty of space for the four of us. Very well equipped kitchen. The outside dining space was a wonderful place to have breakfast before we left. Thank you so much- will recommend to friends!

Sarah was a fantastic host, really responsive on text with any questions we had and although it is self service check in, Sarah was on site when we arrived and gave us the tour of the site showing all the facilities and the route to our Yurt. The location was very peaceful, surrounded by hedges and trees, green and beautiful. You can hear all kinds of birds and wildlife and it’s a very comfortable place to be. The bathroom and shower facilities were spotless, beautiful done to high standard and well presented. The site has a lovely kitchen area as well as a beautifully designed BBQ Hut which we didn’t use as only stayed a night but would be perfect if a family stayed on site for a few days to use. The Yurt (Milne Corner was our one) itself was clean, really comfortable and very elegantly decorated, has all you would need, Hot tub was warming up when we arrived and was a lovely addition to our stay. I would recommend to anyone to stay here and can’t wait to go back!! X

What a beautiful place to stay! The pool house is beautiful and the pool was perfect. Alan and Jeff are great hosts, friendly an welcoming. We can't wait to come back.

We only stayed for a couple of nights, but what a little gem! We will definitely be booking again. It was such a great and unique experience-like camping, but much better! The shed was so cosy and peaceful, we could have sat there all day just listening to the birds. We had everything we needed and loved the little fire pit outside. Showering with a view of the trees was quite a memorable experience too! We walked to Bridgenorth from the shed, which was stunning-through the woods and past some picturesque houses. This is somewhere we will always remember staying.

A wonderful, spacious house. Extremely comfortable furniture and everything that is required for your stay. Plenty of little extras to ensure your trip is carefree. 2 welcoming local pubs within a slow 15 minute wander. Both providing hearty meals. We only tried The Crown, food was lovely. A highly recommended retreat to explore the local area.

Amazing location, great people and communication, will definitely be staying again

Great base for me as I was an exhibitor at BBC Gardeners World Live so wanted a self contained space to stay that was 10 minutes away and this place fitted that perfectly. Lovely area and the boat pub on the canal is a 5 minute walk away which I highly recommend. Well equipped kitchen and great powerful shower. Comfy bed and convenient parking space. I’d come back here when next in the area.

Jessica was very responsive and accommodating with our check in time. The place was easy to find and meet our needs. She even brought us an extra towel to use for the dog as it was going to be rainy. The back garden was perfect for our dog to stretch his legs (and the main reason we booked).

We had a great stay at Phil’s place, everything we needed. Especially good that breakfast was included. We only attempted the drive once as it was too steep for us. We parked on the road for the rest of our stay but never had a problem finding a spot. We will certainly stay again next time we’re in the area visiting friends & family.

Darren and Kate were wonderful hosts could not recommend thier lovely little pet friendly cottage high enough, tucked away in the beautiful Shropshire countryside walking distance to the historic town of Bridgenorth.The cottage was like home from home with a lovely welcome pack including a bottle of wine.Darren was a brilliant communicator and Kate a joy to meet and giving answers to all our queries, not that there were many.We would thoroughly recommend 1 Pine tree Lodge and we will definitely be returning .

Bucket Lock Cottage is in such a peaceful location. The garden was beautiful to rest in and the walks along the canal were lovely. The description of the cottage is accurate - and the basket of logs for the fire is massive! The hosts were very welcoming and responsive during our stay, without being at all intrusive. We would certainly stay here again.

The house feels even bigger than it looks in the photos- plenty of room! Super easy from the NEC, only a 10 min drive. James was incredibly helpful and responsive and had even stocked the fridge with food and drinks for us which was such a lovely touch! We would definitely stay here again, in fact we hope to. Clare is a great host and made herself available to us completely. The apartment is lovely and situated in a separate part of the home and is very private and has beautiful views over the incredible gardens and grounds. Stunning. The location is perfect for anyone wishing to visit Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick and Royal Leamington Spa, each literally 10-20 mins away. Beautiful historic Area that must be visited. The penthouse apartment is large with a perfect kitchen/living area, with all the amenities you could need. A nice big Tv and comfy sofa. It has 2 bathrooms and it really feels like a home from home, especially as Clare generously supplies teas, coffee homemade marmalade and delicious granola! We found fresh milk bread and butter in the fridge, which was also a nice touch. We loved our stay and would come again. Thank you Clare.

Absolutely stunning apartment, superb craftsmanship and decor. The only downside was you had to hang around outside the large block for another resident in the building to gain access. At 2am in the morning this was hard as not many people were around and we got panicked. Great location

What a great place to stay much much better the pictures. The bathroom was unreal. Would definitely recommend staying here. Supper clean. Has everything you need.

what a wonderful, quaint place we booked! It was the most perfect idyllic location for the eve of our best friends wedding. we as bridesmaids with the bride felt at home and could relax just around the corner from the wedding venue. It was an ideal setting for our makeup artist to start our wedding prep on the big day. It was a clean house and felt so cosy. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful from booking to departure. A definite must book.

Chase Lodge is in a perfect location if you want a quiet countryside break not too far from shops and restaurants. The property is really well equipped, comfortable and clean and is all exactly as described. We didn’t meet Zoe but she kept in touch. Check-in and out is very simple via key box. We went on lots of scenic walks directly from the property. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Messaged the night before explaining the accommodating was already ready so to check in whenever. Gave us great local recommendations for food. Very spacious but homely. Was perfect accommodation for getting ready for a wedding as each room had its own bathroom. Host very helpfully when parents in law car wouldn’t start the next day.
