Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Weddington

This house was perfect for our family, multiple large bedrooms and bathrooms, with extra linens, and pillows available as needed. Even some Staples in the kitchen, such as sugar, salt and pepper, coffee filters. The kids had a wonderful time playing outside, and we even used the fire pit. Very large backyard to play in. We love that the house was so close to restaurants and shopping, but not too close, we were out of sight and sounds of any traffic. We would definitely come back here if we are staying in Charlotte! We loved it!!

6 of us stayed here to celebrate my broth-in law’s 60’s birthday. It was perfect! We really enjoyed the location, the interior, and the beautiful exterior space. Had fun renting the pontoon boat for an afternoon, used kayaks, played arcade, ping pong and had a big BBQ on the expansive deck. Highly recommend!

Kate's is such a wonderful and kind host, so thoughtful and considerate. We were dealing with the passing of a very well loved family member and needed to all be together during this tough time. Kate's warm welcome and detailed, thoughtful instructions made our stay in her house so comforting. Upstairs bedrooms included the beautiful master suite, elegant bathroom and a bonus room with childrens toys and games. The main level included another bedroom and bathroom, so appreciated after long days of travel. Great, fully equipped spotlessly clean kitchen, stocked for guests with K cups & ground coffee. Kate also had a collection of toys and games for kids, toddlers and even babies in the under-the-stairs closet. But sadly we were so busy I missed seeing them until after the baby, five year old and their mamas and daddies went home. The house has a lovely backyard, lots of outdoor seating. Blooming red azaleas when were there made for beautiful family photos. Great park, short walk away.

Loved this house. We felt right at home. House was super clean and the neighborhood was fantastic. It was very quiet at night and less than 10 minutes away from Mecklenburg County Sportsplex at Matthews. We rented this house for a lacrosse tournament, and we will definitely be back next year.

We were in town for a family wedding. This home was easy to navigate to everything we needed, and had plenty of room for us to visit with family. The streets were walkable, neighbors friendly, and though we didn't use it, it was nice to have the garage option. Wonderful, beautiful home. Gas range was a bonus!!

I’m a frequent traveler and loved this place. Quiet neighborhood and a nice place to sit out back and relax surround by some old trees. Very close to the downtown area which has several great spots to eat and have a beer or glass of wine. Easily walkable if you wanted. Also very quick drive to the normal haunts. Brandon was a great host and made sure everything was what I needed. I’ll be staying here regularly as it’s much more comfortable than any hotel in the area. Also if you are staying multiple days the quality laundry and kitchen makes life much easier as well. 5-stars Ps: great parking are which you don’t always get.

Mary went above and beyond to make us feel at ease staying at her house. She was thoughtful, kind, accommodating and very responsive. We were in Charlotte for our grandson's graduation from high school. Her home is beautiful and peaceful. We were truly blessed!

Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

I’ve stayed at Malik’s place a few time now. Can’t be the location and what the place has to offer. Very rare to find a 2 bed 2 bath rental on Airbnb when I travel. Would stay again for many years to come.

Staying here was such a hidden gem! The host was so accommodating from before we even made our reservation to any questions we had. We felt truly taken care of and at home. It was in the basement but honestly it felt like we were in our own apartment. It’s a beautiful place with vinyl records, a pool table and a beautiful shower. Would love to stay here again and am so grateful we had the chance to stay here! Will definitely hope to come back sometime ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. The ONLY difficulties that we ran into were the driveway (steep, not much room to turn around. Backing in was suggested, but not at all easy) and the keypad for entry (took numerous tries even when it wasn’t raining).

Great location to walk to events at Bank of America stadium. There are coffee shops and restaurants directly across the street, as well. Traffic noises at night were loud, but it’s expected when you’re in the heart of everything. We appreciated having parking at the building, and the host gave clear instructions for using the garage and other building accesses.

This was by far one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at! Walkable, safe, comfortable, fully equipped with anything you’d need. Beautiful eclectic neighborhood with access to parks, trails, bike paths and uber! Enya was very friendly and responsive, provided snacks, coffee pods and soap/shampoo/etc. We walked to the city (about 15-20 minutes) and enjoyed dining out, visiting museums and enjoyed a ball game! We even drove out to a casino in Kings Mountain and hiked! Great location definitely one you don’t want to miss if you’re in this area.

Great location on a quiet street very close to downtown area,. Long public walk/bike/run space right across the street….id come back just for that…

My stay at this property was exceptional. The space was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and exceeded expectations. This house is a showplace. It is immaculate, beautiful, well appointed and a good location. Melanie is a great host. You can feel the love in her place. It is really nice. She was easy to work with, the house was clean, we lacked for nothing. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very nice, spacious and again spotless. I would stay there again without hesitation.

If I could give this condo a rating of 6 stars I would!! Larry and Pat went above and beyond with communication. The information left in the condo about the community, restaurant, and things to do was excellent. Their place is beautifully decorated. Most Airbnb’s are plain and minimal. Their place is tastefully decorated and very nicely furnished. The appliances in the kitchen were spotless and the kitchen was stocked with every possible dish, pan, glass or utensil you could ever need. Larry & Pat’s place is truly a “Home Away From Home.”

If you are looking for a home on the lake with stunning views from almost every room, look no further. You will enjoy your meals looking out at the lake, a cozy fire and a lake view, or lounging lazily on a memory foam mattress with the lake in view. However, the view isn’t all you will enjoy. There are enough televisions for everyone’s tastes, games, beach towels, a pool, deck furniture, a fire pit, and a covered dock. Surely everyone will find something to do. I was really impressed at how clean the house was, how well-stocked the kitchen was, and the thoughtfulness of providing toiletries/Kleenex. Mike and Jorge are definitely super hosts!
