Stay at Off the Beaten Pass and you will be wonderfully refreshed. It is a peaceful spot by an old wooded reserve. A path in the woods to town is right out back. We walked to the beach, splash pad and playground a few times a day. Randa is friendly, welcoming and very quick to respond. We would love to come back again!

The hosts were extremely helpful and were more than accommodating for my friend’s bachelor party. I would most definitely stay there again.

We had a girl’s getaway weekend at this lake house . We needed a place to simply relax and unwind, and Polly’s place provided just that. It is in a very peaceful location. We all enjoyed having our coffee/tea in the sunroom in the morning while listening to the birds. A couple of questions came up during our stay, and Polly and Jack were responsive and helpful. Polly even came over to be our photographer when we had an idea for some pictures on the staircase. She was a great sport. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the home was spotless. The fire-pit area and access to firewood was great . If there was any suggestion I could share, it would be to devise an easier way to utilize the paddle boat. We didn’t attempt it, because we don’t believe we could have got it in and out of the lake easily. Other than that, we had a great weekend. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake and being able to use the everything outside as needed. The pontoon was a bonus and made for fun fishing excursions. Having almost enough beds for our large family was a big plus! The house was clean, the yard was sufficient and the beach a very short walk (or run if you were under the age of 12). We also enjoyed meeting Jake and hope we can see him again next year!

We had our annual family fishing trip here and its the perfect location! The boat launch for North Webster Lake is about 10 minutes away, but there is a boat launch across the street that can be used if you have a small boat that can fit through the culvert connecting the lakes. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked with the necessities to cook meals. We didn't have the best of luck fishing but still managed to catch, filet, and fry several perch during our stay!

I was in town for a wedding and needed somewhere for 6 groomsmen and the groom to stay. Kiely’s place was exactly what we needed, had plenty of room for 7 grown men to stay and get wedding ready in. Kiely was incredibly helpful and kind to us the entire stay. I cannot recommend enough.

Always the perfect stay. This was our 3rd time visiting and it’s perfect each time. The cottage is “white glove” clean. The beds are comfortable. The views and accommodations are just what is needed to relax and reset. Every time we go something is updated or new that improves the stay. The owners are so friendly and communicative, it keeps us hooked. I have stayed at dozens of Airbnbs and this belongs in a “the best of Airbnb” section. If you are debating staying, book now, you won’t regret it!

David & Carol is very nice and very friendly! Always fast respond for any questions. House location has very quiet place. House is remodeled, has new deck and new outside furniture, also has new fridge, oven, washer and dryer. Everything is very clean and has everything what you need for stay there. I highly recommend this place. My family and our friends were very happy to be here. Thank you for your service!

This place is an absolute gem! I stayed here for a week while I was in town for training at work. It was so nice to come back and relax after very long days. It had everything I needed for the week and was clean and tidy. Melissa is very responsive and super friendly! Will be recommending to anyone that needs to stay in town.

Wonderful place to stay at for the weekend! We had gloomy weather, so we weren’t able to enjoy getting outdoors, but it was so peaceful so we just curled up with a good book! Make sure you check out nearby Dygert Nature Preserve! There was a break in the rain and we made good use of it by stretching our legs on this short hike!

This property is amazing! I can tell you that one year ago, we visited here, and the place has not changed a bit. In fact, there were some improvements! Not that it needed any! Most other rentals kinda slowly go downhill. I hope very much that it remains on Airbnb! Do not miss this perfectly located, very comfortable house! I would reserve fast if you have your dates! Another great thing here is the boat rental is basically across the street! But don't be fooled, it is a very quiet location.

I was in town with my family for a wedding and we rented out Daniel’s place. Everything was as described but more. Daniel reached out on day of check in to make sure we got in easily and he was so responsive with any questions! There was a welcome card, snacks and candies which is such a great touch! The views are gorgeous as well and everyone around was so nice! Also, a nice touch was promoting the local soap business in the bathroom—I was able to go and pick some up before I went home! I would definitely stay here again!

Christine was very accommodating with our last minute booking with an early check in and unintentional late check out. It was a peaceful stay for my husband and I and our dogs. We LOVED the bed! Very comfortable. Lots of various games and activities to enjoy while there. Only thing we missed was having a TV or radio.

We loved the house. It was very clean with lots of activities. Location was great and the view couldn’t be beat. The home had a charming cabin feel. Communication with owners was a breeze. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again when we are back in Columbia City. Thank you!

Had a great time with some friends at Candy’s property! She had helpful notes and cozy decorations all over the cabin, and we took full advantage of all the amenities she had to offer. We frequently saw ducks, swans, and other wildlife passing by and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to enjoy a weekend on the lake or take a breather from their busy lives! 🎣

Holley's place fit the description and photos exactly as presented. We were looking for a place that was relatively close to Notre Dame, and that allowed us to bring our dog. This place fit the bill. It was easy to find, clean, and as I said, fit the description and photos exactly. It was also a nice area to walk our dog. We were here in December and so we could not take advantage of the lake, but if you are here in summer, it's just a stone's throw away, and I imagine very nice. When you think about how much hotels in South Bend and even Elkhart charge on game days this was a no brainer. The price was solid and it was a relatively fast and easy drive from ND. I would definitely stay here again on another game weekend. Thank you Holley!

The Red Cottage was a beautiful, serene place! Peaceful, quiet and had all the amenities we needed. We stayed one night while in town for a graduation. Wish we had more time this explore the outdoors! The only challenge was the only bathroom was one the main floor and all the sleeping accommodations were on the second level. This made it difficult for my 89 yr old mother. But we made due and enjoyed our time there!! Very clean and beautiful!!

Such a cute place! A really great time spent with my college kids relaxing on the dock, floating in the lake, fishing, and playing games in the yard and screened in porch. We brought a lot of snacks and foods to make as there isn’t a lot to do around there. There ARE stores within driving distance for convenience though! Truly a gem of a place… I have had so many friends reach out inquiring on this cute cottage from pics that I posted. Hope it’s ok that I have shared!😉😉 And the fact that my college kids enjoyed the low key weekend just as much…truly says something! Would stay again for sure! Thanks for a great weekend! Definitely good for the soul waking up to views that like every morning. ❤️❤️
