Vacation rentals with a kayak in Wayne County

Our trip to Sally's place was great. We were two families of four doing a long weekend trip. The home was very clean and we had plenty of sleeping room with the 3 bedrooms upstairs and the addition of the basement area that had a great set up for the kids to sleep and hang out. The location of the home was close to great restaurants and the Marina. It is in a really nice neighborhood with other homes nearby, so you really have to mind your P's and Q's and prepare to be stared at by the neighbor on the right. That really wasn't a problem for us at all, but it was a little strange. Sally was a great host and was able to accomodate all our requests. She even was able to give us a couple extra hours on the end of the trip since no one was coming in after us. That made our clean up and packing SO much less stressful. Thank you Sally ! Sending... First off, we are a repeat customer which says a great deal. We love so many things about Emily’s cottage. I love the layout, the amenities and the location. The cottage is just as described. We utilized the whole house and we were very comfortable in all rooms. The beads were very comfortable. The green space in the back is a huge plus it there are kids staying at the cottage. The grill and fire pit were perfect. We parked our cars and never moved them for our entire 5 day stay. Everything is easy access, town, restaurants, beach, sunsets, sidewalks, views….. it really has it all. And, Emily is a wonderful host, quick and thorough in her responses. All in all, we are extremely happy with our stay and can’t wait to return!

My friends and I were in the area for our college reunion, and we were so glad we’d booked Lauren’s place as the views were outstanding! Lauren was responsive when we asked a question and the house was very well stocked. Thanks Lauren!

Great location ! Very cozy and excellent host

This is a charming cottage nestled in the beautiful Port Bay area. It's peaceful with nice, quiet neighbors and beautiful scenery. The only thing we couldn't take advantage of was the campfire due to the rainy weather/wet lawn. No worries, the games we could play inside came in handry, with giant connect 4, jenga and chess available for us to use. The owners were responsive and provided detailed information. It's a lovely cottage!

Everything was great! The house, view and location were good! I would recommend it and definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic place for a getaway with family/friends. Ben & Juli were always responsive and kind. Check-in/check-out is very straightforward and easy to follow; no issues getting in/out of the house. The kitchen was stocked up with all of the necessities. We cooked every morning and evening. The location is gorgeous and with the included kayaks/paddle board, you can go for a relaxing paddle at sunrise or sunset. It was great to sit around the fire pit with a bayfront view, and looking at all the stars was a bonus! Everyone in our group felt comfortable and there were plenty of extra linens and towels. The house was perfect for our group and I would absolutely return to this home for another vacation.

Our family really enjoyed this home for the week of July 4th. It is in a great location, has a large porch with a beautiful view, and comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the kayaks and bikes. Also, Heather couldn’t have been nicer and more responsive! We definitely recommend staying here!

Sally & Gard were great Hosts. Their home was beautiful and homey, with many comfort details not typically found in other Airbnbs. The pond and wooded setting were specular with the fall foliage on full display during our stay! The Kitchen had everything we needed for our long-term stay and the beds and linens were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return. We had an amazing stay at Paul and Ashley’s beautiful lakeside home! The house was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped—with heated rooms, comfy beds, and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed barbecuing, kayaking, hiking, and evening bonfires. Small town setup with family run restaurants serving delicious food. A special memory was our daughter surprising us after her first solo long drive—she just couldn’t resist joining us after seeing how much fun we were having! We truly felt at home and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

This was a beautiful beach front cottage that was perfect for our family. Host was A+ There were fresh flowers in vases throughout the house. I loved that, thank you!!! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Beautiful house that had space for everyone. Great location just a 15 second walk to the beach

We loved our long weekend here. We came to try out salmon fishing in nearby Oswego, but got so much more. Our grandsons loved fishing off of the dock. The house was clean and comfortable and the neighbors were friendly. We enjoyed sitting by the water until dark and then would sit out front for a fire and live music from a nearby vineyard. Some reviews said the vineyard was a walkable distance. We didn't agree, but still enjoyed the music from our patio. We definitely want to stay again.
