Please read the advertisement carefully before booking. I would love to make you welcome in our wonderful home in Hoogedijk. Our home is a completely renovated dike house from 1889, and your room has beautiful views of the Gouwzee and in the evening, you can see the lights of Monnickendam. After a good night's rest, you will enjoy your own wonderful waterfront terrace. Your apartment has its own entrance and is on the second floor of our beautiful house. Be aware that there is no full kitchen.

Ilpendam is a picturesque village in Waterland, 8 km north of Amsterdam. We have the advantages of the countryside, on the other hand we are in 10 min by car or bus to the A'dam Metro! After a hectic day in the city, you can relax here in nature. There is a large wooden deck on the water with table and chairs. Here you can swim if you like or paddle with our borrowed canoes. There's also a terrace in front of the house, with a table and 3 chairs where you can have breakfast in the morning sun.

Peace and quiet in katwoude near Amsterdam

Enjoy in Katwoude van Rust en Ruim. This beautiful rural location has unobstructed views of the polder and accommodates 2 guests in a private bedroom. The rest of the house ( kitchen bathroom living room) and you share with me and sometimes my daughter (every weekend) 3 cats live in our house. Our house is close to Volendam (4km) and Amsterdam (18km and 20 min) with a bus stop at 200 meters. On request we can also place 2 single beds in 1 bedroom. Restaurant is at is 200 meters away.

Are you tired of the city for a while? Are you looking for a special destination for a vacation in your own country? I would love to welcome you to my unique place in the middle of the farmlands of Waterland. Just 15 minutes from the city center of Amsterdam, and a stone's throw from picturesque Broek in Waterland, lies my houseboat. To reach the yard, use a small ferry to cross the Broekervaart. By the way, the ferry is privately owned, and is only used by my guests.

More than 100 year old sailing ship (refurbished in 1998 ;-) with cosy mess room, 5 cabins for max. 16 guests, 2 showers and toilets and of course central heating... The ship is moored in the beautiful historical harbor place Monnickendam, about 20 minutes by bus from Amsterdam Central Station. The bus connection is very good. At day every 2 to 5 minutes, in the evenings every 10 to 15 minutes and from 1:30 at night once per hour...
