Vacation rentals with lake access in Wasilla

We absolutely loved this rental! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the beautiful deck and outdoor space more, but our trip was pretty busy. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone going to Wasilla! Will definitely try to stay here in the future again. Host was easy to work with and provided all we needed. House was well stocked and clean, master bathroom was amazing and a amazing location. Loved it. 5 Star place for sure!

There aren’t adequate words to say for Troy’s place! It is amazingly beautiful and relaxing. He has done an excellent job of decorating and proving necessities for a stay. The beds were very comfortable. Be easy with the heat… it feels amazing on my feet (floor heated) but it will warm up very well… cools off slowly. I just wished I had planned on staying longer. Definitely #1 on our list.

Allison's place is amazing! Gorgeous setting with canoe, kayak and fishing that kept our kids.. ages 8 & 11... entertained all weekend while the adults relaxed on the dock in the sunshine! The inside of the house was pretty and well maintained!There is only one bathroom. But for the 5 of us, we hot along fine. Allison was very responsive to questions. A great host with a great place to make memories. Thanks, Allison!

Absolutely Amazing place to spend your vacation with Incredible Mountain views . Peaceful surroundings and Host was very responsive and helpful . Location was great to do a lot of outdoor activities like hiking, Heli adventure, Sightseeing . Will recommend this place for others to stay

My family and I loved this lake house. The home was incredibly clean and organized. The beds were super comfy and the toiletry amenities were high quality. We spent the morning on the lake in the paddle boats and saw lots of trout! Laurie was super friendly and gave great instructions for check in. Highly recommend this place.

I couldn't stay up late enough for the sunset, but the morning mist in the lake was breathtaking. I would recommend this place for the view, the comfort and the cleanliness.

We loved the place. We would definitely stay again. Everything we needed for our stay. Great communication and very cozy. Great views from the dock.

Our family of five plus two grandparents just spent 5 nights at Mary Jane’ s place in Willow. We had an absolute blast. We drove an hour north to hike the Curry Ridge Trail with beautiful views of Denali national park. Then we went to Snowhook Adventures, about 10 minutes away, for a dog sled and Utv tour. This was a blast! The next day, we mined for gold near Talkeetna and took a train ride and jet boat tour with Mahay’s. The next day, we hiked ThunderBird Falls. All about an hour or less away. So the house was centrally located for all our adventures. Regarding the house, it was so ,comfortable, welcoming and nice and clean! I have never stayed in an Airbnb that had all the amenities that I value so readily available. Bear spray and water bottles for hikes, sharp knives, plenty of paper towels, laundry and cleaning supplies. I can’t recommend Mary Jane as a host and this property enthusiastically enough! Thanks so much for the great time!!

great place to stay. it has a very beautiful lake, and it is quiet and close to the nature. the place is very clean and has everything we needed, including washers and detergents. would recommend this place to other friends

It far exceeded our expectations! The home is BEAUTIFUL, and very large! Gorgeously decorated ! Two floors, tons of space for multiple people. Cute little extras like toys and things to do for kids , kcups and a keurig, little toothpastes in the bathrooms and the best smelling toiletries ! The location is perfect! Just a short 1 minute drive from Parks Hwy and all of the stores and restaurants. Yet peaceful and beautiful on a lake with playground and private dock. We saw beavers swimming in the lake , and moose walking in the driveway two nights in a row! It was amazing! We came for a kids sports tournament at the Menard Center and it took only about 8 minutes to drive there each day. Trenitie is super communicative, answering my questions when I reached out to her even late at night ! Super appreciated the promptness. I can’t say enough great things about this place! And hope to stay there yearly when we come for sporting events !

Great peaceful place to stay. The swans must be used to being fed. They swam right over to us.

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

Best experience in Alaska. If you have even clicked on this listing it is the place for you!!! From the fishing right off the dock for some decent size rainbows, to the clean comfortable cozy living area you will not find a better option! My son and I booked a two night stay at Shirley’s place towards the last 4 days of our vacation. As I hung up from her welcome call i immediately extended for the rest of my trip! The view from the bed is like it was painted there for you! The living space is like having an apartment next to the most amazing Alaskans you’ll ever meet. She even stocked the fridge for us with some breakfast fixins. Her husband Butch is fantastic! He shared tons of info about life in Alaska as my son and I intend on moving up here next summer to build our own place! From cooking us diners to inviting us to the state fair they made us feel so much like family we decided to pitch in on some lawn work with Butch!!! Forget looking for gold in Alaska this is a true DIAMOND!!!

The apartment was great for me and friends to celebrate a birthday. Kurt has everything you need and it’s so beautifully on the lake. Love this property😍

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this place! it was immaculate and very comfortable. The view we had of the lake was wonderful. We enjoyed seeing the float planes taking off from the lake. We got to meet the hosts and they couldn't have been nicer. Annabelle was always prompt in answering any questions we had. There is no other place we will stay next time we visit our son and family in Wasilla. You can't go wrong with this place. Thank you Annabelle!

The house was well taken care of and very nice to stay in. Every sunrise and sunset was picturesque. The lake was beautiful and refreshing. Loved the opportunity to step away from life at home and relax.

This is the nicest and cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. It is better than described in every way. The view is beautiful and so are the surroundings. It is a very quiet and peaceful venue. Gina was always very fast to respond if needed. This place will exceed your expectations!

We had a great stay in this little cottage. It was exactly as represented, and Megan was very responsive to all our needs. The space was exceptionally clean and the perfect size for our needs. Just bummed we couldn’t stay longer but we will be back! Great space and location.

Lori was very generous and kind. Extremely safe neighborhood. She always put my needs above her own. She always had a positive attitude and knew a lot about her town. It was always a pleasure to see and spend time with her. Her dogs were friendly and well controlled.Her house felt like home and her hospitality made it a joy to share. It always felt like I was spending time at a friend’s place. Finally,she always went above and beyond in her duties as host. Finally,if you enjoy walking,there are trails nearby.
