In the spacious lounge area is dining table and large sofa that can be mad, again an internet TV Outside is a patio area with table and chairs. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

Nestling in a quiet rural setting Hilderstone Stable was converted recently into a contemporary high quality 2 bed cottage. 5 mins north of J35 M6. This cottage is ideally located for exploring the Lake District, Arnside/Silverdale AONB, Leighton Moss and Yorkshire Dales. The settlement of Hilderstone can be traced back to the 13th century. The barn was built originally in c1750. There is still a working farm as part of the 200 acre Hilderstone Farm. A great base for outdoor activities.

We are opposite the main village where the restaurant, gym and pool are located. The Yealands is a quieter site, perfect for relaxing after a long day visiting the many local attractions.
